CVSS v3.1 |
| MPXJ is an open source library to read and write project plans from a variety of file formats and databases. The patch for the historical vulnerability CVE-2020-35460 in MPXJ is incomplete as there is still a possibility that a malicious path could be constructed which would not be picked up by the original fix and allow files to be written to arbitrary locations. The issue is addressed in MPXJ version 13.5.1. |
| A vulnerability in the NuPoint Unified Messaging (NPM) component of Mitel MiCollab through 9.8 SP2 (9.8.2.12) could allow an unauthenticated attacker to conduct a path traversal attack due to insufficient input validation. A successful exploit could allow unauthorized access, enabling the attacker to view, corrupt, or delete users' data and system configurations. |
| An unauthenticated path traversal vulnerability exists in Dicoogle PACS Web Server version 2.5.0 and possibly earlier. The vulnerability allows remote attackers to read arbitrary files on the underlying system by sending a crafted request to the /exportFile endpoint using the UID parameter. Successful exploitation can reveal sensitive files accessible by the web server user. |
| CWE-22: Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') vulnerability exists that
could cause arbitrary file reads from the charging station. The exploitation of this vulnerability does require an
authenticated session of the web server. |
| Versions of the package mammoth from 0.3.25 and before 1.11.0; versions of the package mammoth from 0.3.25 and before 1.11.0; versions of the package mammoth before 1.11.0; versions of the package org.zwobble.mammoth:mammoth before 1.11.0 are vulnerable to Directory Traversal due to the lack of path or file type validation when processing a docx file containing an image with an external link (r:link attribute instead of embedded r:embed). The library resolves the URI to a file path and after reading, the content is encoded as base64 and included in the HTML output as a data URI. An attacker can read arbitrary files on the system where the conversion is performed or cause an excessive resources consumption by crafting a docx file that links to special device files such as /dev/random or /dev/zero. |
| Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') vulnerability in JMRI.This issue affects JMRI: before 5.13.3. |
| Bugsink is a self-hosted error tracking service. In versions 1.4.2 and below, 1.5.0 through 1.5.4, 1.6.0 through 1.6.3, and 1.7.0 through 1.7.3, ingestion paths construct file locations directly from untrusted event_id input without validation. A specially crafted event_id can result in paths outside the intended directory, potentially allowing file overwrite or creation in arbitrary locations. Submitting such input requires access to a valid DSN, potentially exposing them. If Bugsink runs in a container, the effect is confined to the container’s filesystem. In non-containerized setups, the overwrite may affect other parts of the system accessible to that user. This is fixed in versions 1.4.3, 1.5.5, 1.6.4 and 1.7.4. |
| path-sanitizer is a simple lightweight npm package for sanitizing paths to prevent Path Traversal. Prior to 3.1.0, the filters can be bypassed using .=%5c which results in a path traversal. This vulnerability is fixed in 3.1.0. |
| Vulnerability discovered by executing a planned security audit.
Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') vulnerability in WPENGINE INC Advanced Custom Fields PRO allows PHP Local File Inclusion. This issue affects Advanced Custom Fields PRO: from n/a before 6.2.10. |
| Netgate pfSense CE Suricata Path Traversal Remote Code Execution Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to create arbitrary files on affected installations of Netgate pfSense. Authentication is required to exploit this vulnerability.
The specific flaw exists within the Suricata package. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of a user-supplied path prior to using it in file operations. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to create files in the context of root. Was ZDI-CAN-28085. |
| HelloWeb 2.0 contains an arbitrary file download vulnerability that allows remote attackers to download system files by manipulating filepath and filename parameters. Attackers can send crafted GET requests to download.asp with directory traversal to access sensitive configuration and system files. |
| The Swift Performance Lite plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Local PHP File Inclusion in all versions up to, and including, 2.3.7.1 via the 'ajaxify' function. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to include and execute arbitrary files on the server, allowing the execution of any PHP code in those files. This can be used to bypass access controls, obtain sensitive data, or achieve code execution in cases where images and other “safe” file types can be uploaded and included. |
| The WP Hide & Security Enhancer plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file contents deletion due to a missing authorization and insufficient file path validation in the file-process.php in all versions up to, and including, 2.5.1. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to delete the contents of arbitrary files on the server, which can break the site or lead to data loss. |
| Statmatic is a Laravel and Git powered content management system (CMS). Prior to version 5.17.0, assets uploaded with appropriately crafted filenames may result in them being placed in a location different than what was configured. The issue affects front-end forms with `assets` fields and other places where assets can be uploaded, although users would need upload permissions anyway. Files can be uploaded so they would be located on the server in a different location, and potentially override existing files. Traversal outside an asset container is not possible. This path traversal vulnerability has been fixed in 5.17.0. |
| A vulnerability has been identified in GoldPanKit eva-server v4.1.0. It affects the path parameter of the /api/resource/local/download endpoint, where manipulation of this parameter can lead to arbitrary file download. |
| Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') vulnerability in Murtaza Bhurgri Woo File Dropzone woo-file-dropzone allows Path Traversal. This issue affects Woo File Dropzone: from n/a through <= 1.1.7. |
| Vulnerability in Wikimedia Foundation MediaWiki. This vulnerability is associated with program files includes/specials/pagers/BlockListPager.Php, includes/api/ApiQueryBlocks.Php.
This issue affects MediaWiki: from >= 1.42.0 before 1.39.13, 1.42.7 1.43.2, 1.44.0. |
| An attacker can get Remote Code Execution by overwriting files. Overwriting files is enable by falsifying file name variable. This vulnerability can be executed in combination with other vulnerabilities and difficult to execute alone. So, the CVSS score for this vulnerability alone is lower than the score listed in the "Base Score" of this vulnerability. | A weakness has been identified in atlaszz AI Photo Team Galleryit App 1.3.8.2 on Android. This affects an unknown part of the component gallery.photogallery.pictures.vault.album. This manipulation causes path traversal. The attack needs to be launched locally. The exploit has been made available to the public and could be exploited. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
| A security vulnerability has been detected in Municorn FAX App 3.27.0 on Android. This vulnerability affects unknown code of the component biz.faxapp.app. Such manipulation leads to path traversal. The attack needs to be performed locally. The exploit has been disclosed publicly and may be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. |
