CVSS v3.1 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/vc4: Use managed KMS polling to fix UAF on unbind
vc4_kms_load() calls drm_kms_helper_poll_init() but the driver provides
no matching drm_kms_helper_poll_fini(). The output poll work stays
scheduled after unbind and runs on the freed drm_device:
# modprobe vc4; rmmod vc4; sleep 10
BUG: KASAN: slab-use-after-free in delayed_work_timer_fn
BUG: KASAN: slab-use-after-free in drm_client_dev_hotplug [drm]
Workqueue: events output_poll_execute [drm_kms_helper]
Allocated by task 171: __devm_drm_dev_alloc
Freed by task 262 (rmmod): drm_dev_put / component_del
Use drmm_kms_helper_poll_init() so polling is finalized with the device,
as other drivers do. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/xe/shrinker: Take a runtime PM ref before shrinking non-system memory
__xe_shrinker_walk() walks the SYSTEM and TT LRUs without a runtime PM
reference. Shrinking a bo outside system memory invalidates its GPU
mappings, which needs the device resumed, so while it is runtime
suspended the page table zap trips an assert and the TLB invalidation
returns -ENODEV:
WARNING: drivers/gpu/drm/xe/xe_bo.c:770 at xe_bo_move_notify+0x1fc/0x450 [xe]
xe_bo_shrink+0x20f/0x2b0 [xe]

xe_shrinker_scan+0x10c/0x1e0 [xe]
do_shrink_slab+0x176/0x7e0
drop_caches_sysctl_handler+0x9c/0xf0
Take a reference before walking a memory type other than XE_PL_SYSTEM
and stop there if it cannot be acquired. Reuse the shrinker's existing
acquire path, which resumes the device directly where reclaim allows
that and otherwise queues the PM worker for a later scan. Stop the walk
once the scan target is met, so a satisfied scan does not wake the
device. System memory is still reclaimed while the device is suspended.
Gate this on xe_device_is_l2_flush_optimized(), the same condition under
which xe_bo_trigger_rebind() issues the invalidation for a non-fault-mode
vm, so reclaim is unaffected elsewhere. The System CCS copy already has
its own reference in xe_bo_shrink().
Only a non-fault-mode vm can reach this, since a fault-mode vm requires
LR mode and that holds a runtime PM reference for the vm's lifetime.
Reproduced with igt@xe_madvise@dontneed-before-exec while the GPU is
runtime suspended.
v2: simplify needs_rpm check. (Matt)
retarget Fixes tag since the issue occurs with the non-fault-mode
path added by 4e7ebff69aed.
v3: handle this in xe_shrinker.c instead of xe_bo.c (Thomas)
v4: stop the walk once the scan target is met. (Sashiko)
v5: rebase on the freed page accounting fix. (Sashiko)
v6: reuse the shrinker acquire path so runtime pm can be resumed
directly instead of always queueing a worker. (Thomas)
v7: replace xe_pm_runtime_put() with xe_shrinker_runtime_pm_put(). (Thomas)

| Vim is an open source, command line text editor. Prior to 9.2.0847, runtime/autoload/vimball.vim allows a crafted vimball member named .VimballRecord to overwrite the installation record with attacker-chosen commands. When vimball#RmVimball() later processes the matching record entry, the stored Ex commands, including operating-system commands invoked through :!, execute with the privileges of the user running Vim. This issue is fixed in version 9.2.0847. |
| Vim is an open source, command line text editor. Prior to 9.2.0839, the runtime/ftplugin/sh.vim, runtime/ftplugin/zsh.vim, and runtime/ftplugin/ps1.vim filetype plugins pass attacker-controlled Visual-mode selections from K through keywordprg commands without safely separating shell arguments. fnameescape() and PATH_ESC_CHARS do not neutralize shell metacharacters before ShKeywordPrg, ZshKeywordPrg, or GetHelp invokes bash, zsh, or PowerShell, allowing arbitrary operating-system commands to execute with the privileges of the user running Vim. This issue is fixed in version 9.2.0839. |
| Vim is an open source, command line text editor. Prior to 9.2.0840, runtime/plugin/netrwPlugin.vim loads netrw and runtime/pack/dist/opt/netrw/autoload/netrw.vim constructs Bookmarks, History, and Targets menu entries by interpolating attacker-controlled directory paths into executed :menu commands. s:NetrwBookmarkMenu(), s:NetrwTgtMenu(), g:netrw_menu_escape, EX_TRLBAR, and netrw#MakeTgt() fail to neutralize the | command separator or single quotes at five construction sites, allowing a crafted path browsed or bookmarked in GUI Vim to execute arbitrary Ex and operating-system commands. This issue is fixed in version 9.2.0840. |
| Tapo C120 v1 and C200 v5
contain a NULL pointer dereference in the HTTPS onboarding connect request parser. The interface is reachable without
authentication after initial setup and does not validate that a password field
is present for certain authentication and encryption parameter combinations,
allowing a malformed request from the same local network to crash the HTTPS service
Successful exploitation may
temporarily make HTTPS management functions unavailable. Repeated malformed
requests may sustain the denial-of-service condition, and recovery may in some
cases require a device reboot. |
| Immich is a high-performance self-hosted photo and video management solution. Prior to 3.2.4, an authenticated non-admin user could upload SVG files that thumbnail-generation code in server/src/repositories/media.repository.ts passed to libvips. Files that bypassed libvips' native SVG loader fell through to ImageMagick, where attacker-controlled <image href> values reached unrestricted MSL and VIDEO coder operations. By storing one crafted asset and referencing its path from a second delayed-marker SVG, an attacker could execute code in the immich-server container when thumbnail processing ran. This issue is fixed in version 3.2.4. |
| MISP contains an improper access control vulnerability in its attribute search and paginated attribute view endpoints.
When a user queries for soft-deleted attributes (e.g., via the deleted-attributes search or the paginated attribute listing), the application returned soft-deleted attributes belonging to events owned by other organizations to any authenticated user who had visibility of the event. The event detail view correctly restricted soft-deleted attribute visibility to the owning organization and sync-permission users, but the attribute search and paginated view code paths lacked this restriction.
Preconditions:
- An authenticated MISP user with at least read access to an event owned by another organization.
- The user issues a query for deleted attributes (search or paginated view with the deleted filter).
Impact:
- Confidentiality: Soft-deleted threat intelligence attributes (e.g., IOCs, indicators, context) from other organizations are disclosed to unauthorized users. This may expose sensitive intelligence that the owning organization intended to remove from general visibility.
Affected versions: MISP versions prior to v2.5.48. |
| Authorization bypass through User-Controlled key vulnerability in The Wikimedia Foundation MediaWiki WikiLambda extension allows Authentication Bypass.
This issue affects MediaWiki WikiLambda extension: 1.46. |
| PyJWT is a Python implementation of JSON Web Token standards. Prior to 2.14.0, PyJWT signature segment is affected because signature segment decoding accepts characters outside the canonical Base64URL representation. This occurs when non-Base64URL characters are appended to a valid compact JWS signature segment. As a result, base64url_decode produces the same signature bytes for different serialized segments. Consequently, raw-token revocation checks can fail to recognize an equivalent modified token. This issue is fixed in version 2.14.0. |
| PyJWT is a Python implementation of JSON Web Token standards. Prior to 2.14.0, PyJWT is_pem_format is affected because lazy PEM regular expression backtracks extensively. This occurs when a certificate-like input contains repeated BEGIN markers without a matching END marker. As a result, is_pem_format performs unbounded backtracking while searching for a PEM end marker. Consequently, an attacker can cause intensive CPU consumption. This issue is fixed in version 2.14.0. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
cachefiles: Fix error return when vfs_mkdir() fails
When vfs_mkdir() fails, the error code is not extracted from the
returned error pointer. This causes mkdir_error to be reached with
ret=0, which leads to returning ERR_PTR(0) (NULL) instead of a
proper error pointer.
Fix this by extracting the error code from the error pointer when
vfs_mkdir() fails. |
| PyJWT is a Python implementation of JSON Web Token standards. From 2.4.0 until 2.14.0, PyJWT HMACAlgorithm.prepare_key is affected because asymmetric-key guard relies on textual markers that are absent from DER encoding. This occurs when an application mixes HMAC and asymmetric algorithms and supplies a DER public key as the shared verification key. As a result, PyJWT uses public DER bytes as an HMAC secret. Consequently, an attacker who knows the public key can forge authenticated HMAC tokens. This issue is fixed in version 2.14.0. |
| PyJWT is a Python implementation of JSON Web Token standards. From 2.13.0 until 2.14.0, HMACAlgorithm.prepare_key in jwt/algorithms.py is affected because raw-JWK detector does not normalize accepted Unicode byte-order marks before checking for JSON. This occurs when a public JWK is prefixed with a UTF-8 BOM and used in a mixed-algorithm verification path. As a result, public JWK bypasses asymmetric-key detection and becomes the HMAC secret. Consequently, an attacker who knows the public key can forge authenticated tokens. This issue is fixed in version 2.14.0. |
| PyJWT is a Python implementation of JSON Web Token standards. From 2.13.0 until 2.14.0, PyJWT HMACAlgorithm.prepare_key is affected because HMAC key guard only recognizes top-level public JWK forms and misses container representations. This occurs when an application allows HMAC and asymmetric algorithms and passes a public JWK container as the raw key. As a result, public asymmetric key material is accepted as the HMAC secret. Consequently, an attacker who knows the public key can forge a token with arbitrary authenticated claims. This issue is fixed in version 2.14.0. |
| PyJWT is a Python implementation of JSON Web Token standards. From 2.9.0 until 2.14.0, PyJWKSet does not catch the plain ValueError raised for malformed RSA JWK components by RSAAlgorithm.from_jwk in jwt/api_jwk.py. This occurs when a JWK Set contains a malformed RSA key alongside otherwise usable keys. As a result, one malformed member aborts construction of the entire PyJWKSet. Consequently, applications can experience authentication failures or request-level denial of service. This issue is fixed in version 2.14.0. |
| PyJWT is a Python implementation of JSON Web Token standards. From 2.1.0 until 2.15.0, PyJWT OKPAlgorithm.from_jwk in jwt/algorithms.py is affected because private-JWK import path does not compare the public key derived from d with x. This occurs when an OKP private JWK supplies non-corresponding x and d components. As a result, identity derived from x can differ from operations performed with d. Consequently, if an integration also accepts private key parameters from a proof header without rejecting them, an attacker may use a stolen sender-constrained token without the legitimate private key. This issue is fixed in version 2.15.0. |
| libical 4.0.6 contains an incompatible function pointer in icalparameter_string_to_kind(). When parsing iCalendar data containing a parameterized property, the function passes icalparameter_compare_kind_map() to bsearch() through an incompatible comparator function pointer type. bsearch() invokes the callback through the mismatched type, resulting in undefined behavior and process termination, leading to denial of service. |
| libvips 8.19.0 contains a memory access vulnerability when processing little-endian PFM images. If the PFM text header length is not a multiple of four bytes, the mmap-based loader can expose pixel data at an address that is not properly aligned for float access. vips_avg_scan() subsequently dereferences the buffer through a float pointer, resulting in undefined behavior and process termination on strict-alignment architectures or UBSan-instrumented builds, leading to denial of service. |
| In Progress® Telerik® Fiddler® Classic for Windows, versions prior to v6.0.20262.10021, HTTP request smuggling is possible in the proxy request forwarding component. Requests containing multiple Content-Length headers with conflicting values are forwarded verbatim to the origin server, while Fiddler frames the request body using only the first Content-Length value. A local threat actor with low privileges who is able to send requests through the same Fiddler proxy instance as another user can exploit this desynchronization against a non-RFC-9110-compliant origin server that keeps the connection alive to smuggle an additional request. Because Fiddler returns the server connection to its pipe pool after reading only the first response, the unread smuggled response remains buffered on the socket and is served to the next session that reuses that connection, allowing the attacker to poison responses delivered to other users and to obtain responses intended for them. |
