CVSS v3.1 |
| InvoicePlane is a self-hosted open source application for managing invoices, clients, and payments. Prior to 1.7.2-rc-1, InvoicePlane builds its permitted template list by scanning a PHP template directory that can be written through an administrator-controlled file-write capability. A malicious PHP file placed in the directory is automatically trusted by Mdl_templates and can be selected as public_invoice_template. When a public invoice is rendered, the guest View controller includes the trusted file and executes it with web-server privileges. This issue is fixed in version 1.7.2-rc-1. |
| The wp-review-slider-pro WordPress plugin before 12.7.12 does not sanitize a value stored through one of its AJAX handlers, which lacks a capability check, before using it in a SQL statement, allowing any authenticated user, such as a subscriber, to perform SQL injection attacks whose results are then returned to unauthenticated visitors. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ALSA: us122l: Prevent write upgrades for read mappings
The hwdep mmap callback rejects read-buffer mappings that are initially
writable, but leaves VM_MAYWRITE set on mappings created with PROT_READ.
A process that can open the hwdep node O_RDWR can later use mprotect() to
make the mapping writable.
The read allocation begins with struct usb_stream. Its read_size member is
used by the fault handler to decide which pages belong to the read buffer.
The read VMA intentionally remains expandable because pcm_usb_stream uses
mremap() after reading that size. Changing read_size first can therefore
map and access pages beyond the allocation. The same member is also
consumed by usb_stream_free(), where changing it can make
free_pages_exact() release pages outside the allocation.
Clear VM_MAYWRITE for read-buffer mappings after rejecting an initially
writable VMA. This keeps the separate output-buffer mapping writable while
preventing later permission upgrades. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
nstree: check listing permission before taking a namespace reference
legitimize_ns() takes a reference on the candidate namespace before
may_list_ns() has decided whether the caller may see it. The
__free(ns_put) cleanup on the denied path can drop the last reference to a
mount namespace while we still hold the rcu read lock, and put_mnt_ns()
may sleep there. This is the same problem commit 2ec2aff3c8e2 ("ns: make
sure reference are dropped outside of rcu lock") fixed for the put_user()
path. Neither ns_requested() nor may_list_ns() needs a reference, both
only look at the namespace type and at the caller's own namespaces, so do
the checks first and take the reference last.

| Dell Trusted Device Client, versions prior to 8.1.359.0, contain an Incorrect Permission Assignment for Critical Resource vulnerability. A low privileged attacker with local access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Information tampering. |
| Incorrect permission assignment allows local users to obtain sensitive CalDAV/CardDAV information belonging to other accounts. |
| When a Tauri application uses the dialog plugin's file or folder picker, an attacker with JavaScript execution (XSS) can force the scope expansion to be recursive, granting read/write access to an entire directory tree after a single user click on a normal-looking OS file dialog. The user has no indication that recursive access was granted, and the expanded scope cannot be revoked for the lifetime of the application. |
| The Apache Lounge Windows distribution of Apache HTTP Server build contains an insecure installation directory permissions vulnerability through its default install directory on C:\, which inherits write access for Authenticated Users. |
| A local privilege escalation vulnerability exists in the update daemon of Foxit PDF Editor/Reader due to an insecure permission configuration that allows the configuration file to be modified by regular users, which may lead to arbitrary script execution with higher privileges. |
| A local privilege escalation vulnerability exists in the installer of Foxit PDF Editor for macOS due to insufficient validation of a user-modifiable configuration value during high-privilege upgrades. A local attacker could exploit this issue to execute arbitrary commands with root privileges. |
| MCP Atlassian is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for Atlassian products (Confluence and Jira). Prior to 0.22.0, the OAuth fallback token directory and JSON file are created without explicit owner-only modes. Local users or processes with access through the resulting group or world permission bits can read access and refresh tokens and reuse the associated Atlassian session. The advisory traces the vulnerable input and processing flow through ~/.mcp-atlassian, oauth-<client_id>.json, access_token, and refresh_token, which identify the affected entry points, controls, and code paths. This issue is fixed in version 0.22.0. |
| The Apache Lounge Windows distribution of Apache HTTP Server build contains a hardcoded configuration path vulnerability within openssl.cnf path that can allow local code execution. |
| MCP Atlassian is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server for Atlassian products (Confluence and Jira). Prior to 0.22.0, the plaintext OAuth fallback file containing refresh and access tokens is written with permissions inherited from the process umask. Under common or permissive configurations, other local users can read the backup and retain Atlassian access through the refresh token. The advisory traces the vulnerable input and processing flow through OAuthConfig._save_tokens_to_file, refresh_token, access_token, and umask, which identify the affected entry points, controls, and code paths. This issue is fixed in version 0.22.0. |
| Dell Command | Monitor (DCM), versions prior to 10.13.2, contain an Incorrect Permission Assignment for Critical Resource vulnerability. A low privileged attacker with local access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Elevation of Privileges. |
| The MISP installer scripts (for Debian 12, Debian 13, Ubuntu 24.04, and RHEL 9.4) create a log file at /var/log/misp_install.log and a named pipe (FIFO) at /var/log/misp_install.log.pipe to capture all installer output. The log captures highly sensitive data including the generated admin password, database passwords, GPG passphrase, and supervisor password. However, the log file was created by the tee command under the system default umask, resulting in world-readable permissions (typically 0644). Similarly, the FIFO was created with mkfifo without an explicit mode, also inheriting the default umask and remaining world-readable during the window before it was unlinked.
Any local unprivileged user on the system could read the log file or the FIFO to obtain these credentials.
Additionally, the log file was not removed before creation, meaning a pre-existing symlink in /var/log could have been used to redirect the write to an arbitrary location.
Version affected: <2.5.47 |
| Omni manages Kubernetes on bare metal, virtual machines, or in a cloud. From 1.3.0 until 1.6.6 and 1.7.3, importing a standalone Talos cluster creates an ImportedClusterSecrets resource containing the cluster's complete CA secrets bundle. The access rules in internal/backend/runtime/omni/state_access.go allow an authenticated user with the Reader role to retrieve the resource through ResourceService if the importing actor has not rotated those secrets, exposing Kubernetes, Talos, and etcd CA private keys plus the service-account key. The Kubernetes CA private key permits certificate signing for privileged identities such as system:masters and provides control of the imported cluster outside Omni's authorization boundary, including its workloads, credentials, and secrets. This issue is fixed in versions 1.6.6 and 1.7.3. |
| Dell ObjectScale, versions prior to 4.4.0.0, contains an Incorrect Permission Assignment for Critical Resource vulnerability in the OS. A high privileged attacker with remote access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Denial of service. |
| A permissions issue was addressed with additional restrictions. This issue is fixed in iOS 26.7 and iPadOS 26.7, iOS 27 and iPadOS 27, macOS Golden Gate 27, macOS Sequoia 15.8, macOS Tahoe 26.7. An app may be able to modify protected parts of the file system. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ntfs: reject unprivileged writes to reserved $LX* xattrs
Reject setxattr of the reserved $LXUID, $LXGID, $LXMOD and $LXDEV names
from userspace unless the caller has CAP_SYS_ADMIN. |
| Froxlor before 2.2.0 (affected up to and including 2.2.0-rc3) generates /etc/pure-ftpd/db/mysql.conf with mode 0644 via the XML configuration templates in lib/configfiles/, even though the file contains the Froxlor SQL user's password. On systems where the parent directories are world readable (the default on Debian 12), any unprivileged local user able to execute commands or code on the host — including virtual users without SSH access who can upload PHP/CGI scripts — can read the file and obtain the Froxlor database credentials. Database access can then be leveraged to alter an administrator's password hash and TOTP seed, log in as a Froxlor administrator, and ultimately gain root privileges. Only instances configured to use pure-ftpd are affected. |
