CVSS v3.1 |
A flaw was found in the submariner-operator component. The `submariner-k8s-broker-cluster` Role, which is assigned to joined clusters, possesses excessive permissions. This allows a compromised cluster to alter network configurations, specifically by overwriting other clusters' endpoint information. Consequently, an attacker can redirect inter-cluster tunnel traffic, enabling a Man-in-the-Middle (MITM) attack across the entire cluster mesh.
A vulnerability was identified in Intelbras TIP 125i 4.3.35/4.3.41. The affected element is an unknown function of the component Básico Page. Such manipulation leads to inclusion of sensitive information in source code. The attack can be launched remotely. A high complexity level is associated with this attack. The exploitability is described as difficult. The exploit is publicly available and might be used. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure.
@grpc/grpc-js implements the core functionality of gRPC purely in JavaScript, without a C++ addon. Prior to 1.13.6 and 1.14.5, when an application method handler throws an uncaught error, the server includes its error message in the status message sent to the client. The thrown error message is transmitted to the client, causing sensitive information disclosure when the message contains sensitive data. This issue is fixed in versions 1.13.6 and 1.14.5.
copyparty contains a volume restriction bypass vulnerability in its SFTP front end that allows authenticated SFTP users to create, remove, and truncate arbitrary paths outside permitted volume boundaries by exploiting three handlers that bypass the xvol volflag enforcement. The _mkdir, _rmdir, and _chattr handlers construct destination paths using vfs.get(), vn.canonical(), and os.path.join() without invoking the chk_ap access check, enabling attackers to traverse symlinks leaving a volume's top directory and perform unauthorized file creation, deletion, or truncation via SSH_FXP_SETSTAT operations on paths outside any volume the account is authorized to access.
Joplin is an open source note-taking and to-do application that organises notes and lists into notebooks. From 1.4.0 until 3.7.2, packages/renderer/MdToHtml/rules/katex.ts enables KaTeX's trust option for note content, allowing a note author to place a \href URL into rendered output without passing Joplin's normal URL allowlist. On Windows, clicking a link whose target is an attacker-controlled UNC path causes pathExists() to initiate SMB authentication and disclose the current user's NTLMv2 challenge-response without a warning. The unfiltered URL can also invoke other registered URL handlers, but the credential disclosure through KaTeX \href is the distinguishing demonstrated impact. This issue is fixed in version 3.7.2.
IBM Concert 1.0.0 through 3.0.0 allows recursive copying of directories without proper controls which can lead to unintentional inclusion of sensitive or unnecessary files and increased attack surface.
GitLab has remediated an issue in GitLab CE/EE affecting all versions from 10.1.0 before 19.1.8, 19.2 before 19.2.6, and 19.3 before 19.3.2 that certain conditions could have allowed an authenticated user to access sensitive credentials and tokens without transiting the expected proxy due to improper authorization checks on internal data emission endpoints.
The Unlimited Elements For Elementor WordPress plugin before 2.0.20 does not perform a capability check on an AJAX action and deserializes attacker-controlled stored data through it, which makes it possible for authenticated attackers with subscriber-level access to inject arbitrary PHP objects. A partial fix in the 2.0.18 to 2.0.19 releases raised the privilege required to reach the vulnerable action to editor-level, and the issue was fully resolved in 2.0.20.
| IO::Socket::SSL::SelfCertificate versions 1.00 for Perl contains malware which executes Python code from an obfuscated URL.
The generate_certificate runs a Python script saved as a certificate file. The pyhton script attempts to retrieve code from a hardcoded http URL that is obfuscated with base64 encoding and run the response body directly.
The impact is that arbitrary code can be invoked as the user, without a dropped script being saved on the affected host.
The releases have no test scripts nor build hooks. The intention may have been to trigger the payload after installation.
The dropper script is in lib/Crypt/SelfCertificate/sample/cert.pem.
This is similar to CVE-2026-95831 for the module Crypt::SelfCertificate.

GitLab has remediated an issue in GitLab EE affecting all versions from 18.3 before 18.11.12, 19.0 before 19.0.9, 19.1 before 19.1.8, 19.2 before 19.2.6, and 19.3 before 19.3.2 that under certain conditions could allow an authenticated user with Duo Chat access to obtain Advanced Search instance configurations and sensitive credentials using a specially crafted GraphQL subscription argument to bypass serialization and perform server object lookup.
The decompress package for Node.js extracts archives. Prior to 10.2.2 and 11.1.4, the default decompress(input, output) API relies on lexical containment checks that do not account for the kernel following a planted symlink chain. An attacker can supply a crafted archive containing chained symlink entries so that a later entry resolves outside the output directory. This allows files outside output to be read or written, and overwriting startup scripts or configuration can lead to remote code execution. The maintained @xhmikosr/decompress package is fixed in 10.2.2 and 11.1.4, but the separately affected unmaintained decompress package remains unpatched through 4.2.1. This vulnerability results from a bypass of the incomplete hardening for CVE-2026-53486. @xhmikosr/decompress is fixed in versions 10.2.2 and 11.1.4.
Edgelesssys Contrast is a confidential-computing runtime for Kubernetes. In versions 1.9.0 before 1.12.2, the initializer logs the full NewMeshCert response — which contains the workload secret — to standard output at INFO level. As a result, workload secrets are exposed to any Kubernetes user with get or list permission on pods/logs. Because workload secrets are used for encrypted storage and Vault integration, those must also be considered compromised. This is a regression of GHSA-h5f8-crrq-4pw8.
Improper link resolution in the migration receive path in Canonical LXD versions 4.0 and later (fixed in 4.0.14, 5.0.10, 5.21.8 and 6.10) on Linux allows an authenticated client that can create instances or custom storage volumes in a project, or a malicious migration source server, to write attacker-controlled files to arbitrary paths on the target host as root, leading to full host compromise. The attacker does this with a crafted rsync or btrfs send stream that plants a symlink in the transferred volume, such as rootfs or root.img, and then writes through it.
Improper link resolution in the recursive file pull feature of the LXD CLI client in Canonical LXD versions 4.0.2 up to 6.9 (fixed in 4.0.14, 5.0.10 and 5.21.8) on Linux allows an attacker with root access inside a virtual machine to write attacker-controlled files or directory trees to arbitrary paths on the client host, with the operator's privileges. The attacker does this by using a modified lxd-agent that returns inconsistent SFTP directory listings and Lstat results.
Froxlor through 2.3.10 is vulnerable to arbitrary file deletion via symlink following in the FTP data deletion cron task. Cron task 8 (deleteFtpData), queued when an FTP account is deleted, calls FileDir::makeCorrectDir() without the $fixed_homedir argument, so the symlink component walk is skipped, and then executes 'rm -rf' as root on the resulting path with string-level guards only. Because makeCorrectDir() appends a trailing slash, GNU rm dereferences a symlink used either as an intermediate path component or as the final component. An authenticated customer who can write to the FTP home directory can plant a symlink between task insertion and cron execution, causing the root cron job to recursively delete arbitrary directory trees, resulting in cross-tenant data destruction and host denial of service. This issue is fixed in Froxlor 2.3.12.
Hugo is a static site generator. In versions after v0.123.0 and before v0.166.0, Hugo's symlink confinement checks stopped at the mount root itself, so a theme or module checked into themes/ (or a vendored module) could contain a symlink at a mount root (for example themes/mytheme/assets -> /some/dir/outside). Files behind such a symlink were readable during a site build through resources.Get, resources.Match and similar functions, and could be published to public/ via static mounts, bypassing the rule that theme and module mount sources must be local paths. Modules fetched via Go modules are not affected because Go module zips cannot contain symlinks, and this is not an escalation for the main project, which may already mount absolute paths by configuration. Fixed in v0.166.0, where symlinked mount roots and symlinked directories between the mount root and the module directory are treated as non-existent for all modules. As a workaround, inspect themes/ and vendored modules for symlinks at mount roots before building, or replace symlinks with explicit mounts.
A malicious OCI registry can hardlink arbitrary host files into the extraction directory when a user installs or updates a Flatpak application from an OCI remote, allowing disclosure of arbitrary host file contents. For system-wide installs running as root, this includes sensitive files such as /etc/shadow.
A malicious Flatpak extension can probe the host filesystem to determine what files and directories exist at arbitrary paths, and host directory listings can be disclosed to sandboxed applications using the extension. Additionally, unvalidated extension metadata can cause extension content to be mounted at unintended locations inside the sandbox.
A malicious user can get read-access to files in the flatpak-system-helper context if a system OCI repository is configured, because the OCI code paths in the system helper follow symlinks when importing OCI images that are under the user's control.
Deserialization of Untrusted Data in Apache Roller 6.1.5 allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to cause deserialization of attacker-controlled bytes, because the XML-RPC endpoint accepts vendor extension types that are deserialized during request parsing, before authentication. The servlet is mapped unconditionally, so parsing occurs even when the global XML-RPC feature is set to disabled; no non-default configuration is required for this path. This can lead to remote code execution. Users are recommended to upgrade to Apache Roller 6.1.6 or later, which disables the extension types and rejects requests when the XML-RPC feature is disabled.
