CVSS v3.1 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
vsock/vmci: fix sk_ack_backlog leak on failed handshake
When vmci_transport_recv_connecting_server() returns an error,
vmci_transport_recv_listen() calls vsock_remove_pending() but never
calls sk_acceptq_removed(). This leaves sk_ack_backlog incremented
permanently.
Repeated handshake failures (malformed packets, queue pair alloc
failure, event subscribe failure) cause sk_ack_backlog to climb
toward sk_max_ack_backlog. Once it reaches the limit the listener
permanently refuses all new connections with -ECONNREFUSED, a
silent denial of service requiring a process restart to recover.
The two existing sk_acceptq_removed() calls in af_vsock.c do not
cover this path: line 764 checks vsock_is_pending() which returns
false after vsock_remove_pending(), and line 1889 is only reached
on successful accept().
Fix by balancing sk_acceptq_added() with sk_acceptq_removed() on
the error path. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
net/mlx5e: xsk: Fix DMA and xdp_frame leak on XDP_TX xmit failure
In the XSK branch of mlx5e_xmit_xdp_buff(), when sq->xmit_xdp_frame()
returns false (e.g. XDPSQ is full), the function returns without
unmapping the DMA address or freeing the xdp_frame allocated by
xdp_convert_zc_to_xdp_frame(). The xdpi_fifo push only happens on
success, so the completion path cannot recover these entries.
With CONFIG_DMA_API_DEBUG=y, the leak surfaces on driver unbind:
DMA-API: pci 0000:08:00.0: device driver has pending DMA
allocations while released from device [count=1116]
One of leaked entries details: [device address=0x000000010ffd7028]
[size=1534 bytes] [mapped with DMA_TO_DEVICE] [mapped as phy]

Add the missing unmap + xdp_return_frame, matching the cleanup already
done in mlx5e_xdp_xmit(). has_frags is rejected earlier in this branch,
so no per-frag unmap is needed. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/vc4: fix krealloc() memory leak
Don't just overwrite the original pointer passed to krealloc()
with its return value without checking latter:
MEM = krealloc(MEM, SZ, GFP);
If krealloc() returns NULL, that erases the pointer
to the still allocated memory, hence leaks this memory.
Instead, use a temporary variable, check it's not NULL
and only then assign it to the original pointer:
TMP = krealloc(MEM, SZ, GFP);
if (!TMP) return;
MEM = TMP;
While on it, use krealloc_array(). |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/v3d: Fix vaddr leak when indirect CSD has zeroed workgroups
v3d_rewrite_csd_job_wg_counts_from_indirect() maps both the indirect
buffer and the workgroup buffer and is expected to release them before
returning. When any of the workgroup counts read from the buffer is zero,
the function bailed out early and skipped the cleanup, leaking the vaddr
mappings of both BOs.
Jump to the cleanup path instead of returning directly, so the mappings
are always dropped. |
| melange allows users to build apk packages using declarative pipelines. In version 0.40.5 and prior, melange update-cache downloads URIs from build configs via io.Copy without any size limit or HTTP client timeout (pkg/renovate/cache/cache.go). An attacker-controlled URI in a melange config can cause unbounded disk writes, exhausting disk on the build runne. There is no known patch publicly available. |
| pypdf is a free and open-source pure-python PDF library. Prior to version 6.7.5, an attacker who uses this vulnerability can craft a PDF which leads to long runtimes. This requires accessing a stream which uses the /ASCIIHexDecode filter. This issue has been patched in version 6.7.5. |
| MarkUs is a web application for the submission and grading of student assignments. Prior to version 2.9.4, MarkUs currently extracts zip files without any size or entry-count limits. For example, instructors can upload a zip file to provide an assignment configuration; students can upload a zip file for an assignment submission and indicate its contents should be extracted. This issue has been patched in version 2.9.4. |
| In onHeaderDecoded of LocalImageResolver.java, there is a possible persistent denial of service due to resource exhaustion. This could lead to remote denial of service with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. |
| In multiple functions of MmsProvider.java, there is a possible way to arbitrarily delete files which affect telephony, SMS, and MMS functionalities due to a path traversal error. This could lead to local denial of service with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. |
| A security vulnerability has been detected in ChaiScript up to 6.1.0. This impacts the function chaiscript::eval::AST_Node_Impl::eval/chaiscript::eval::Function_Push_Pop of the file include/chaiscript/language/chaiscript_eval.hpp. The manipulation leads to uncontrolled recursion. An attack has to be approached locally. The exploit has been disclosed publicly and may be used. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet. |
| A weakness has been identified in ChaiScript up to 6.1.0. This affects the function chaiscript::Boxed_Number::go of the file include/chaiscript/dispatchkit/boxed_number.hpp. Executing a manipulation can lead to divide by zero. The attack requires local access. The exploit has been made available to the public and could be used for attacks. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet. |
| cpp-httplib is a C++11 single-file header-only cross platform HTTP/HTTPS library. Prior to 0.35.0, cpp-httplib (httplib.h) does not enforce Server::set_payload_max_length() on the decompressed request body when using HandlerWithContentReader (streaming ContentReader) with Content-Encoding: gzip (or other supported encodings). A small compressed payload can expand beyond the configured payload limit and be processed by the application, enabling a payload size limit bypass and potential denial of service (CPU/memory exhaustion). This vulnerability is fixed in 0.35.0. |
| A vulnerability was detected in libuvc up to 0.0.7. Affected is the function uvc_scan_streaming of the file src/device.c of the component UVC Descriptor Handler. The manipulation results in null pointer dereference. The attack needs to be approached locally. The exploit is now public and may be used. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet. |
| OliveTin gives access to predefined shell commands from a web interface. Prior to version 3000.10.3, an unauthenticated denial-of-service vulnerability exists in OliveTin’s OAuth2 login flow. Concurrent requests to /oauth/login can trigger unsynchronized access to a shared registeredStates map, causing a Go runtime panic (fatal error: concurrent map writes) and process termination. This allows remote attackers to crash the service when OAuth2 is enabled. This issue has been patched in version 3000.10.3. |
| OliveTin gives access to predefined shell commands from a web interface. Prior to version 3000.10.2, the PasswordHash API endpoint allows unauthenticated users to trigger excessive memory allocation by sending concurrent password hashing requests. By issuing multiple parallel requests, an attacker can exhaust available container memory, leading to service degradation or complete denial of service (DoS). The issue occurs because the endpoint performs computationally and memory-intensive hashing operations without request throttling, authentication requirements, or resource limits. This issue has been patched in version 3000.10.2. |
| A flaw was found in Undertow where malformed client requests can trigger server-side stream resets without triggering abuse counters. This issue, referred to as the "MadeYouReset" attack, allows malicious clients to induce excessive server workload by repeatedly causing server-side stream aborts. While not a protocol bug, this highlights a common implementation weakness that can be exploited to cause a denial of service (DoS). |
| A vulnerability in the IKEv2 feature of Cisco Secure Firewall ASA Software and Cisco Secure FTD Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause a DoS condition on an affected device that may also impact the availability of services to devices elsewhere in the network.
This vulnerability is due to memory exhaustion caused by not freeing memory during IKEv2 packet processing. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending crafted IKEv2 packets to an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to exhaust resources, causing a DoS condition that will eventually require the device to manually reload. |
| A vulnerability in the IKEv2 feature of Cisco Secure Firewall ASA Software and Cisco Secure FTD Software could allow an authenticated, remote attacker with valid VPN user credentials to cause a DoS condition on an affected device that may also impact the availability of services to devices elsewhere in the network.
This vulnerability is due to the improper processing of IKEv2 packets. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending crafted, authenticated IKEv2 packets to an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to exhaust memory, causing the device to reload. |
| A vulnerability in the IKEv2 feature of Cisco Secure Firewall ASA Software and Cisco Secure FTD Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause a DoS condition on an affected device that may impact the availability of services to devices elsewhere in the network.
This vulnerability is due to a memory leak when parsing IKEv2 packets. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending crafted IKEv2 packets to an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to exhaust resources, causing a DoS condition that will eventually require the device to be manually reloaded. |
| A vulnerability in the Remote Access SSL VPN, HTTP management and MUS functionality, of Cisco Secure Firewall Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) Software and Secure Firewall Threat Defense (FTD) Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to exhaust device memory resulting in a denial of service (DoS) condition requiring a manual reboot.
This vulnerability is due to trusting user input without validation. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending crafted packets to the Remote Access SSL VPN server. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause the device to stop responding, resulting in a DoS condition. |
