|---|---|---|---|---|
| CVE-2023-6240 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 3 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Eus | 2025-11-08 | 6.5 Medium |
| A Marvin vulnerability side-channel leakage was found in the RSA decryption operation in the Linux Kernel. This issue may allow a network attacker to decrypt ciphertexts or forge signatures, limiting the services that use that private key. | ||||
| CVE-2024-35114 | 1 Ibm | 1 Control Center | 2025-11-06 | 5.3 Medium |
| IBM Control Center 6.2.1 and 6.3.1 could allow a remote attacker to enumerate usernames due to an observable discrepancy between login attempts. | ||||
| CVE-2023-5992 | 2 Opensc Project, Redhat | 11 Opensc, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus and 8 more | 2025-11-06 | 5.6 Medium |
| A vulnerability was found in OpenSC where PKCS#1 encryption padding removal is not implemented as side-channel resistant. This issue may result in the potential leak of private data. | ||||
| CVE-2023-5981 | 3 Fedoraproject, Gnu, Redhat | 7 Fedora, Gnutls, Enterprise Linux and 4 more | 2025-11-06 | 5.9 Medium |
| A vulnerability was found that the response times to malformed ciphertexts in RSA-PSK ClientKeyExchange differ from response times of ciphertexts with correct PKCS#1 v1.5 padding. | ||||
| CVE-2025-59716 | 1 Owncloud | 1 Owncloud | 2025-11-06 | 5.3 Medium |
| ownCloud Guests before 0.12.5 allows unauthenticated user enumeration via the /apps/guests/register/{email}/{token} endpoint. Because of insufficient validation of the supplied token in showPasswordForm, the server responds differently when an e-mail address corresponds to a valid pending guest user rather than a non-existent user. | ||||
| CVE-2024-39891 | 1 Twilio | 3 Authy, Authy 2-factor Authentication, Authy Authenticator | 2025-11-05 | 5.3 Medium |
| In the Twilio Authy API, accessed by Authy Android before 25.1.0 and Authy iOS before 26.1.0, an unauthenticated endpoint provided access to certain phone-number data, as exploited in the wild in June 2024. Specifically, the endpoint accepted a stream of requests containing phone numbers, and responded with information about whether each phone number was registered with Authy. (Authy accounts were not compromised, however.) | ||||
| CVE-2023-4421 | 1 Mozilla | 1 Nss | 2025-11-04 | 6.5 Medium |
| The NSS code used for checking PKCS#1 v1.5 was leaking information useful in mounting Bleichenbacher-like attacks. Both the overall correctness of the padding as well as the length of the encrypted message was leaking through timing side-channel. By sending large number of attacker-selected ciphertexts, the attacker would be able to decrypt a previously intercepted PKCS#1 v1.5 ciphertext (for example, to decrypt a TLS session that used RSA key exchange), or forge a signature using the victim's key. The issue was fixed by implementing the implicit rejection algorithm, in which the NSS returns a deterministic random message in case invalid padding is detected, as proposed in the Marvin Attack paper. This vulnerability affects NSS < 3.61. | ||||
| CVE-2022-4499 | 1 Tp-link | 4 Archer C5, Archer C5 Firmware, Tl-wr710n and 1 more | 2025-11-04 | 7.5 High |
| TP-Link routers, Archer C5 and WR710N-V1, using the latest software, the strcmp function used for checking credentials in httpd, is susceptible to a side-channel attack. By measuring the response time of the httpd process, an attacker could guess each byte of the username and password. | ||||
| CVE-2022-4304 | 3 Openssl, Redhat, Stormshield | 8 Openssl, Enterprise Linux, Jboss Core Services and 5 more | 2025-11-04 | 5.9 Medium |
| A timing based side channel exists in the OpenSSL RSA Decryption implementation which could be sufficient to recover a plaintext across a network in a Bleichenbacher style attack. To achieve a successful decryption an attacker would have to be able to send a very large number of trial messages for decryption. The vulnerability affects all RSA padding modes: PKCS#1 v1.5, RSA-OEAP and RSASVE. For example, in a TLS connection, RSA is commonly used by a client to send an encrypted pre-master secret to the server. An attacker that had observed a genuine connection between a client and a server could use this flaw to send trial messages to the server and record the time taken to process them. After a sufficiently large number of messages the attacker could recover the pre-master secret used for the original connection and thus be able to decrypt the application data sent over that connection. | ||||
| CVE-2024-23218 | 1 Apple | 5 Ipados, Iphone Os, Macos and 2 more | 2025-11-04 | 5.9 Medium |
| A timing side-channel issue was addressed with improvements to constant-time computation in cryptographic functions. This issue is fixed in macOS Sonoma 14.3, watchOS 10.3, tvOS 17.3, iOS 17.3 and iPadOS 17.3. An attacker may be able to decrypt legacy RSA PKCS#1 v1.5 ciphertexts without having the private key. | ||||
| CVE-2024-23170 | 1 Arm | 1 Mbed Tls | 2025-11-04 | 5.5 Medium |
| An issue was discovered in Mbed TLS 2.x before 2.28.7 and 3.x before 3.5.2. There was a timing side channel in RSA private operations. This side channel could be sufficient for a local attacker to recover the plaintext. It requires the attacker to send a large number of messages for decryption, as described in "Everlasting ROBOT: the Marvin Attack" by Hubert Kario. | ||||
| CVE-2023-5388 | 3 Debian, Mozilla, Redhat | 8 Debian Linux, Firefox, Thunderbird and 5 more | 2025-11-04 | 6.5 Medium |
| NSS was susceptible to a timing side-channel attack when performing RSA decryption. This attack could potentially allow an attacker to recover the private data. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 124, Firefox ESR < 115.9, and Thunderbird < 115.9. | ||||
| CVE-2024-39894 | 1 Openssh | 1 Openssh | 2025-11-04 | 7.5 High |
| OpenSSH 9.5 through 9.7 before 9.8 sometimes allows timing attacks against echo-off password entry (e.g., for su and Sudo) because of an ObscureKeystrokeTiming logic error. Similarly, other timing attacks against keystroke entry could occur. | ||||
| CVE-2024-54476 | 1 Apple | 1 Macos | 2025-11-03 | 5.5 Medium |
| The issue was addressed with improved checks. This issue is fixed in macOS Sequoia 15.2, macOS Ventura 13.7.2, macOS Sonoma 14.7.2. An app may be able to access user-sensitive data. | ||||
| CVE-2024-47678 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2025-11-03 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: icmp: change the order of rate limits ICMP messages are ratelimited : After the blamed commits, the two rate limiters are applied in this order: 1) host wide ratelimit (icmp_global_allow()) 2) Per destination ratelimit (inetpeer based) In order to avoid side-channels attacks, we need to apply the per destination check first. This patch makes the following change : 1) icmp_global_allow() checks if the host wide limit is reached. But credits are not yet consumed. This is deferred to 3) 2) The per destination limit is checked/updated. This might add a new node in inetpeer tree. 3) icmp_global_consume() consumes tokens if prior operations succeeded. This means that host wide ratelimit is still effective in keeping inetpeer tree small even under DDOS. As a bonus, I removed icmp_global.lock as the fast path can use a lock-free operation. | ||||
