| Snipe-IT is an IT asset/license management system. Prior to 8.7.0, a user with the customfields.create permission can store markup in CustomField.name, and app/Presenters/AssetPresenter.php assigns that value as an unescaped bootstrap-table header title. When another user opens an asset-list page associated with the fieldset, the stored markup executes on page load in that user's Snipe-IT session. This can expose same-origin data and perform authenticated actions with the victim's privileges, including privilege escalation when a superuser views the affected list. This issue is fixed in version 8.7.0. |
| PyPy before versions 3.11.16 and 3.12.14 contains a use-after-free vulnerability in the pyexpat module's ExternalEntityParserCreate function that allows attackers to corrupt memory by supplying a crafted XML document to applications that create external-entity sub-parsers without retaining a reference to the parent parser. The child parser retains a raw C back-pointer to the parent parser struct while PyPy's tracing garbage collector can free the parent's C struct, causing bundled libexpat to dereference the freed pointer on every parsed token, producing memory corruption. |

Successful exploitation grants the attacker the ability to deploy resources into any namespace with the elevated permissions of the controller's Service Account, potentially leading to unauthorized access and control over cluster resources. |
| A flaw was found in multicluster-global-hub. The manager component improperly validates the source identity of incoming CloudEvents on Kafka status topics. A remote attacker, after compromising a managed hub and obtaining its Kafka client certificate, can manipulate the self-asserted source identity. This allows the attacker to falsify or delete critical data, such as compliance, inventory, and cluster health information, belonging to other hubs in the database. |

| Improper neutralization of special elements in data query logic in the GridFS component of the MongoDB PHP Library can cause a caller-supplied structured file identifier to be interpreted as a query condition rather than as a literal identifier. An authenticated user who can influence the identifier passed by an affected application may obtain stored file content beyond the intended target or cause all GridFS file chunks in the affected bucket to be removed, rendering stored file content unreadable. The affected rename operation may also rename a stored file other than the intended target. |
