CVE-2026-63989 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-08 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bridge: Fix sleep in atomic context in netlink path Since the introduction of the netlink configuration path for bridge ports in commit 25c71c75ac87 ("bridge: bridge port parameters over netlink"), br_setport() was always called with the bridge lock held around it. Back then this decision made sense: The bridge lock protects the STP state of the bridge and its ports and at that time the function only processed three STP related netlink attributes (cost, priority and state). Nowadays, br_setport() processes a lot more attributes and most of them do not need the bridge lock: * Bridge flags: Only require RTNL. Read locklessly by the data path. Annotations can be added in net-next. * FDB port flushing: Only requires the FDB lock. * Multicast attributes: Only require the multicast lock. * Group forward mask: Only requires RTNL. Read locklessly by the data path. Annotations can be added in net-next. * Backup port and NHID: Only require RTNL. Read locklessly by the data path. This is a problem as the bridge calls dev_set_promiscuity() when certain bridge port flags change and this function can sleep since the commit cited below, resulting in a splat such as [1]. Fix this by reducing the scope of the bridge lock and only take it when processing the three STP related attributes that require it. This is consistent with the multicast attributes where each attribute acquires the multicast lock instead of having one critical section for all relevant attributes. CVE-2026-63990 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-10-08 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bonding: refuse to enslave CAN devices syzbot reported a kernel paging request crash in can_rx_unregister() inside net/can/af_can.c. The crash occurs because a virtual CAN device (vxcan) is being enslaved to a bonding master. During the enslavement process, the bonding driver mutates and modifies the network device states to fit an Ethernet-like aggregation model. However, CAN devices operate on a completely different Layer 2 architecture, relying on the CAN mid-layer private data structure (can_ml_priv) instead of standard Ethernet structures. Since bonding does not initialize or maintain these CAN structures, subsequent operations on the half-enslaved interface (such as closing associated sockets via isotp_release) lead to a null-pointer dereference when accessing the CAN receiver lists. Bonding CAN interfaces is architecturally invalid as CAN lacks MAC addresses, ARP capabilities, and standard Ethernet link-layer mechanisms. While generic loopback devices are blocked globally in net/core/dev.c, virtual CAN devices bypass this check because they do not carry the IFF_LOOPBACK flag, despite acting as local software-loopbacks. Fix this by explicitly blocking network devices of type ARPHRD_CAN from being enslaved at the very beginning of bond_enslave(). This prevents illegal state mutations, eliminates the resulting KASAN crashes, and avoids potential memory leaks from incomplete socket cleanups. As the CAN support has been added a long time after bonding the Fixes-tag points to the introduction of ARPHRD_CAN that would have needed a specific handling in bonding_main.c.

CVE-2026-104634 1 Scriptkittyos 1 Beam Mcp 2026-10-08 N/A
Incorrect Type Conversion or Cast vulnerability in BeamMCP.Server in ScriptKittyOS beam_mcp allows an MCP client's JSON true, false and null tool arguments to reach the host's dispatch function as the strings "true", "false" and "nil". After BeamMCP.Schema.validate/2 accepted a value as a boolean, normalize_arguments/2 passed every argument through to_json_value/1, whose atom clause converts true, false and nil to strings. A string is truthy in Elixir, so a host that tests a boolean argument, for example if args.dry_run, takes the opposite branch for false, and a guard such as confirm: false reads as set. The client controls the argument and could send true directly, so the practical impact is limited to hosts whose behaviour on false differs from their behaviour on true, and to any policy layer in front of the server that permits false but refuses true. The same normalisation applies to prompts/get arguments, which exist from 0.5.0. This issue affects beam_mcp: from 0.1.0 before 0.10.1.
CVE-2026-61421 1 Dell 1 Container Storage Modules 2026-10-08 9.8 Critical
Dell Container Storage Modules, versions prior to 1.18.0, contain(s) an Use of Hard-coded Credentials vulnerability in the CSM Authorization. An unauthenticated attacker with remote access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Elevation of privileges.
CVE-2026-63688 1 Dell 1 Container Storage Modules 2026-10-08 10 Critical
Dell Container Storage Modules (CSM), versions prior to v1.18.0, contains a Missing Authentication for Critical Function vulnerability in the csm-authorization-storage gRPC server. An unauthenticated remote attacker could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to unauthorized access to storage backend administrator credentials for all registered storage arrays.
CVE-2026-106407 1 Google 1 Chrome 2026-10-08 6.5 Medium
Incorrect authorization in GetUserMedia in Google Chrome prior to 155.0.8059.39 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to bypass system access restrictions via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium)
CVE-2026-11788 1 Redhat 12 389 Directory Server, Directory Server, Directory Server E4s and 9 more 2026-10-08 5.9 Medium
A flaw was found in 389 Directory Server. The dereference control plugin does not check for allocation failure before using a BER structure, allowing an unauthenticated remote attacker to crash the LDAP server when the system is under memory pressure.
CVE-2026-11770 2 Port389, Redhat 13 389-ds-base, 389 Directory Server, Directory Server and 10 more 2026-10-08 7.5 High
A flaw was found in 389 Directory Server. An unauthenticated remote attacker can inject LDAP search filters into the CleanAllRUV replication status-check extended operation. Because the handler performs the search against cn=config with elevated replication plugin privileges and returns a boolean match result, the attacker can extract sensitive server configuration metadata, including replication bind DNs and password storage scheme information.
CVE-2026-76560 1 Redhat 10 Directory Server, Directory Server E4s, Enterprise Linux and 7 more 2026-10-08 7.5 High
A flaw was found in 389 Directory Server. The SELFDN ACI bind-rule evaluator incorrectly matches an anonymous LDAP client's empty bind DN against an empty stored attribute value, allowing an unauthenticated client to satisfy access control checks intended to require a matching authenticated identity. This can allow an anonymous LDAP client to perform an operation, such as adding or modifying a directory entry, that a SELFDN-based ACI intended to restrict to a specific authenticated user.
CVE-2026-18922 1 Redhat 11 Directory Server, Directory Server E4s, Enterprise Linux and 8 more 2026-10-08 9.8 Critical
A flaw was found in 389 Directory Server. During SASL PLAIN authentication, a stale identity carried in a Cyrus SASL auxiliary property from a prior failed bind attempt can be installed on a connection following a subsequent, unrelated successful bind, regardless of which SASL mechanism completes that second bind. An attacker can send a SASL PLAIN bind as cn=Directory Manager with an incorrect password, then complete a SASL ANONYMOUS bind on the same connection, causing the server to grant Directory Manager authority without any valid credentials. A variant using a valid low-privileged account's own successful bind instead of an anonymous one is also possible.
CVE-2026-19843 1 Redhat 6 Directory Server, Directory Server E2s, Directory Server E4s and 3 more 2026-10-08 8.4 High
A flaw was found in 389-ds-base. The Cockpit 389 Console's LDAP editor constructs an ldapsearch command by embedding an LDAP entry's distinguished name (DN) into a shell command string without proper escaping. An LDAP user with delegated privileges to create or rename directory entries could craft a malicious DN containing shell metacharacters. When a Cockpit administrator subsequently views the entry in the 389 Console, the embedded shell command executes with root privileges on the directory server host.
CVE-2026-18453 1 Redhat 11 Directory Server, Directory Server E4s, Enterprise Linux and 8 more 2026-10-08 7.5 High
A flaw was found in 389 Directory Server. A missing NULL pointer check in the paged results handling of op_shared_search allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to crash the LDAP server by sending a crafted sequence of search requests using the USE_ONE_BACKEND control, resulting in denial of service.
