CVSS v3.1 |
Kubernetes in OpenShift3 allows remote authenticated users to use the private images of other users should they know the name of said image.
The read_config_file function in lib/hesiod.c in Hesiod 3.2.1 falls back to the ".athena.mit.edu" default domain when opening the configuration file fails, which allows remote attackers to gain root privileges by poisoning the DNS cache.
An elevation of privilege vulnerability in the MediaTek thermal driver could enable a local malicious application to execute arbitrary code within the context of the kernel. This issue is rated as High because it first requires compromising a privileged process. Product: Android. Versions: N/A. Android ID: A-28175647. References: M-ALPS02696475.
Privilege escalation vulnerability in Barracuda Load Balancer 5.0.0.015 via the use of an improperly protected SSH key.
The Gentoo sci-mathematics/gimps package before 28.10-r1 for Great Internet Mersenne Prime Search (GIMPS) allows local users to gain privileges by creating a hard link under /var/lib/gimps, because an unsafe "chown -R" command is executed.
An elevation of privilege vulnerability in the Qualcomm Wi-Fi driver could enable a local malicious application to execute arbitrary code within the context of the kernel. This issue is rated as High because it first requires compromising a privileged process. Product: Android. Versions: Kernel-3.10, Kernel-3.18. Android ID: A-32451171. References: QC-CR#1087807.
Android ID: A-32451104. References: QC-CR#1087797.
Firejail allows --chroot when seccomp is not supported, which might allow local users to gain privileges.
Android ID: A-32879283. References: QC-CR#1091940.
An elevation of privilege vulnerability in the Qualcomm sound driver could enable a local malicious application to execute arbitrary code within the context of the kernel. This issue is rated as High because it first requires compromising a privileged process. Product: Android. Versions: Kernel-3.10, Kernel-3.18. Android ID: A-31906415. References: QC-CR#1078000.
Firejail uses 0777 permissions when mounting /tmp, which allows local users to gain privileges.
Lenovo System Update (formerly ThinkVantage System Update) before 5.07.0019 allows local users to gain privileges by navigating to (1) "Click here to learn more" or (2) "View privacy policy" within the Tvsukernel.exe GUI application in the context of a temporary administrator account, aka a "local privilege escalation vulnerability."
The Konke Smart Plug K does not require authentication for TELNET sessions, which allows remote attackers to obtain "equipment management authority" via TCP traffic to port 23.
Polycom RealPresence Resource Manager (aka RPRM) before 8.4 allows attackers to obtain sensitive information and potentially gain privileges by leveraging use of session identifiers as parameters with HTTP GET requests.
Huawei E5756S before V200R002B146D23SP00C00 allows remote attackers to read device configuration information, enable PIN/PUK authentication, and perform other unspecified actions.
A vulnerability in the routine that loads DLL files in Cisco Meeting App for Windows could allow an authenticated, local attacker to run an executable file with privileges equivalent to those of Cisco Meeting App. The vulnerability is due to incomplete input validation of the path name for DLL files before they are loaded. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by installing a crafted DLL file in a specific system directory. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to execute commands on the underlying Microsoft Windows host with privileges equivalent to those of Cisco Meeting App. The attacker would need valid user credentials to exploit this vulnerability. Cisco Bug IDs: CSCvd77907.
Inedo BuildMaster before 5.8.2 does not properly restrict creation of RequireManageAllPrivileges event listeners.
The error page mechanism of the Java Servlet Specification requires that, when an error occurs and an error page is configured for the error that occurred, the original request and response are forwarded to the error page. This means that the request is presented to the error page with the original HTTP method. If the error page is a static file, expected behaviour is to serve content of the file as if processing a GET request, regardless of the actual HTTP method. The Default Servlet in Apache Tomcat 9.0.0.M1 to 9.0.0.M20, 8.5.0 to 8.5.14, 8.0.0.RC1 to 8.0.43 and 7.0.0 to 7.0.77 did not do this. Depending on the original request this could lead to unexpected and undesirable results for static error pages including, if the DefaultServlet is configured to permit writes, the replacement or removal of the custom error page. Notes for other user provided error pages: (1) Unless explicitly coded otherwise, JSPs ignore the HTTP method. JSPs used as error pages must must ensure that they handle any error dispatch as a GET request, regardless of the actual method. (2) By default, the response generated by a Servlet does depend on the HTTP method. Custom Servlets used as error pages must ensure that they handle any error dispatch as a GET request, regardless of the actual method.
The scm plug-in in mock might allow attackers to bypass the intended chroot protection mechanism and gain root privileges via a crafted spec file.
Sierra Wireless GX 440 devices with ALEOS firmware 4.3.2 execute the management web application as root.
