CVE-2026-43456 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-07-24 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bonding: fix type confusion in bond_setup_by_slave() kernel BUG at net/core/skbuff.c:2306! Functions like ipgre_header(), ip6gre_header(),all use netdev_priv(dev) to access their device-specific private data. When called with the bond device, netdev_priv() returns the bond's private data (struct bonding) instead of the expected type (e.g. struct ip_tunnel), leading to garbage values being read and kernel crashes. Fix this by introducing bond_header_ops with wrapper functions that delegate to the active slave's header_ops using the slave's own device. This ensures netdev_priv() in the slave's header functions always receives the correct device. The fix is placed in the bonding driver rather than individual device drivers, as the root cause is bond blindly inheriting header_ops from the slave without considering that these callbacks expect a specific netdev_priv() layout. The type confusion can be observed by adding a printk in ipgre_header() and running the following commands: ip link add dummy0 type dummy ip addr add 10.0.0.1/24 dev dummy0 ip link set dummy0 up ip link add gre1 type gre local 10.0.0.1 ip link add bond1 type bond mode active-backup ip link set gre1 master bond1 ip link set gre1 up ip link set bond1 up ip addr add fe80::1/64 dev bond1
CVE-2026-31703 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-07-24 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: writeback: Fix use after free in inode_switch_wbs_work_fn() inode_switch_wbs_work_fn() has a loop like: wb_get(new_wb); while (1) { list = llist_del_all(&new_wb->switch_wbs_ctxs); /* Nothing to do? */ if (!list) break; ... process the items ... } Now adding of items to the list looks like: wb_queue_isw() if (llist_add(&isw->list, &wb->switch_wbs_ctxs)) queue_work(isw_wq, &wb->switch_work); Because inode_switch_wbs_work_fn() loops when processing isw items, it can happen that wb->switch_work is pending while wb->switch_wbs_ctxs is empty. This is a problem because in that case wb can get freed (no isw items -> no wb reference) while the work is still pending causing use-after-free issues. We cannot just fix this by cancelling work when freeing wb because that could still trigger problematic 0 -> 1 transitions on wb refcount due to wb_get() in inode_switch_wbs_work_fn(). It could be all handled with more careful code but that seems unnecessarily complex so let's avoid that until it is proven that the looping actually brings practical benefit. Just remove the loop from inode_switch_wbs_work_fn() instead. That way when wb_queue_isw() queues work, we are guaranteed we have added the first item to wb->switch_wbs_ctxs and nobody is going to remove it (and drop the wb reference it holds) until the queued work runs.
CVE-2026-31502 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-07-24 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: team: fix header_ops type confusion with non-Ethernet ports Similar to commit 950803f72547 ("bonding: fix type confusion in bond_setup_by_slave()") team has the same class of header_ops type confusion. For non-Ethernet ports, team_setup_by_port() copies port_dev->header_ops directly. When the team device later calls dev_hard_header() or dev_parse_header(), these callbacks can run with the team net_device instead of the real lower device, so netdev_priv(dev) is interpreted as the wrong private type and can crash. The syzbot report shows a crash in bond_header_create(), but the root cause is in team: the topology is gre -> bond -> team, and team calls the inherited header_ops with its own net_device instead of the lower device, so bond_header_create() receives a team device and interprets netdev_priv() as bonding private data, causing a type confusion crash. Fix this by introducing team header_ops wrappers for create/parse, selecting a team port under RCU, and calling the lower device callbacks with port->dev, so each callback always sees the correct net_device context. Also pass the selected lower device to the lower parse callback, so recursion is bounded in stacked non-Ethernet topologies and parse callbacks always run with the correct device context.
CVE-2026-23451 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-07-24 7.5 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bonding: prevent potential infinite loop in bond_header_parse() bond_header_parse() can loop if a stack of two bonding devices is setup, because skb->dev always points to the hierarchy top. Add new "const struct net_device *dev" parameter to (struct header_ops)->parse() method to make sure the recursion is bounded, and that the final leaf parse method is called.
CVE-2025-38550 2 Debian, Linux 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel 2026-07-24 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipv6: mcast: Delay put pmc->idev in mld_del_delrec() pmc->idev is still used in ip6_mc_clear_src(), so as mld_clear_delrec() does, the reference should be put after ip6_mc_clear_src() return.
CVE-2025-38349 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-07-24 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: eventpoll: don't decrement ep refcount while still holding the ep mutex Jann Horn points out that epoll is decrementing the ep refcount and then doing a mutex_unlock(&ep->mtx); afterwards. That's very wrong, because it can lead to a use-after-free. That pattern is actually fine for the very last reference, because the code in question will delay the actual call to "ep_free(ep)" until after it has unlocked the mutex. But it's wrong for the much subtler "next to last" case when somebody *else* may also be dropping their reference and free the ep while we're still using the mutex. Note that this is true even if that other user is also using the same ep mutex: mutexes, unlike spinlocks, can not be used for object ownership, even if they guarantee mutual exclusion. A mutex "unlock" operation is not atomic, and as one user is still accessing the mutex as part of unlocking it, another user can come in and get the now released mutex and free the data structure while the first user is still cleaning up. See our mutex documentation in Documentation/locking/mutex-design.rst, in particular the section [1] about semantics: "mutex_unlock() may access the mutex structure even after it has internally released the lock already - so it's not safe for another context to acquire the mutex and assume that the mutex_unlock() context is not using the structure anymore" So if we drop our ep ref before the mutex unlock, but we weren't the last one, we may then unlock the mutex, another user comes in, drops _their_ reference and releases the 'ep' as it now has no users - all while the mutex_unlock() is still accessing it. Fix this by simply moving the ep refcount dropping to outside the mutex: the refcount itself is atomic, and doesn't need mutex protection (that's the whole _point_ of refcounts: unlike mutexes, they are inherently about object lifetimes).
CVE-2023-52494 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-07-24 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bus: mhi: host: Add alignment check for event ring read pointer Though we do check the event ring read pointer by "is_valid_ring_ptr" to make sure it is in the buffer range, but there is another risk the pointer may be not aligned. Since we are expecting event ring elements are 128 bits(struct mhi_ring_element) aligned, an unaligned read pointer could lead to multiple issues like DoS or ring buffer memory corruption. So add a alignment check for event ring read pointer.
CVE-2026-32687 1 Elixir-ecto 1 Postgrex 2026-07-24 7.8 High
Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an SQL Command ('SQL Injection') vulnerability in elixir-ecto postgrex ('Elixir.Postgrex.Notifications' module) allows SQL Injection. The channel argument passed to 'Elixir.Postgrex.Notifications':listen/3 and 'Elixir.Postgrex.Notifications':unlisten/3 is interpolated directly into LISTEN "..." / UNLISTEN "..." SQL statements without escaping the " character. An attacker who can influence the channel name can inject a " to break out of the quoted identifier and append arbitrary SQL. Because the notifications connection uses the PostgreSQL simple query protocol, multi-statement payloads are accepted, allowing DDL and DML commands to be chained (e.g. ; DROP TABLE ...; --). The same unsanitized interpolation also occurs in handle_connect/1 when replaying LISTEN commands after a reconnect. This vulnerability is associated with program file lib/postgrex/notifications.ex and program routines 'Elixir.Postgrex.Notifications':listen/3, 'Elixir.Postgrex.Notifications':unlisten/3, 'Elixir.Postgrex.Notifications':handle_connect/1. This issue affects postgrex: from 0.16.0 before 0.22.2.
CVE-2026-49759 1 Erlang 4 Erlang/otp, Erlang\/otp, Erts and 1 more 2026-07-24 8.2 High
Stack-based Buffer Overflow vulnerability in Erlang OTP erts (inet_drv) allows an unauthenticated remote attacker to crash the BEAM VM by sending a crafted SCTP ERROR chunk. The sctp_parse_error_chunk function in erts/emulator/drivers/common/inet_drv.c parses SCTP ERROR chunks and writes cause codes into a fixed-size stack-allocated ErlDrvTermData spec[] array without checking bounds. A remote attacker who has established an SCTP association to a listening port can send a single crafted SCTP ERROR chunk containing enough cause codes to overflow the stack buffer, crashing the VM. The attacker can only write 16-bit values interleaved with a fixed tag, so the overflow does not provide a controlled return address, limiting exploitation to Denial of Service. A crafted SCTP ERROR chunk may also leak bits and pieces of Erlang VM memory into the received error packet observed by the Erlang process. Such data is already readable by the user running the Erlang VM, so the disclosure scope is limited. This issue affects OTP from OTP 17.0 before OTP 29.0.2, OTP 28.5.0.2 and OTP 27.3.4.13, corresponding to erts from 6.0 before 17.0.2, 16.4.0.2 and 15.2.7.9.
CVE-2026-47075 1 Benoitc 1 Hackney 2026-07-24 7.5 High
Improper Neutralization of CRLF Sequences vulnerability in benoitc hackney allows HTTP Request Splitting. hackney does not percent-encode carriage return (\r) or line feed (\n) characters in the URL query component before constructing the HTTP/1.1 request target. Characters outside the grammar defined in RFC 3986 Section 3.4 must be percent-encoded, but hackney_url:make_url/3 passes the query binary directly without validation or escaping. An attacker who can control all or part of a URL passed to hackney can inject raw CRLF sequences into the query string, which are then sent as HTTP line breaks in the request target. This enables injection of arbitrary HTTP headers or splitting of the HTTP request. This issue affects hackney: from 0.13.1 before 4.0.1.
CVE-2026-32144 1 Erlang 5 Erlang/otp, Erlang\/otp, Erlang\/public Key and 2 more 2026-07-24 7.4 High
Improper Certificate Validation vulnerability in Erlang OTP public_key (pubkey_ocsp module) allows OCSP designated-responder authorization bypass via missing signature verification. The OCSP response validation in public_key:pkix_ocsp_validate/5 does not verify that a CA-designated responder certificate was cryptographically signed by the issuing CA. Instead, it only checks that the responder certificate's issuer name matches the CA's subject name and that the certificate has the OCSPSigning extended key usage. An attacker who can intercept or control OCSP responses can create a self-signed certificate with a matching issuer name and the OCSPSigning EKU, and use it to forge OCSP responses that mark revoked certificates as valid. This affects SSL/TLS clients using OCSP stapling, which may accept connections to servers with revoked certificates, potentially transmitting sensitive data to compromised servers. Applications using the public_key:pkix_ocsp_validate/5 API directly are also affected, with impact depending on usage context. This vulnerability is associated with program files lib/public_key/src/pubkey_ocsp.erl and program routines pubkey_ocsp:is_authorized_responder/3. This issue affects OTP from OTP 27.0 before OTP 28.4.2 and OTP 27.3.4.10, corresponding to public_key from 1.16 before 1.20.3 and 1.17.1.2, and ssl from 11.2 before 11.5.4 and 11.2.12.7.
CVE-2026-55952 1 Erlang 4 Erlang/otp, Erlang\/otp, Erlang\/ssl and 1 more 2026-07-24 7.5 High
The Erlang/OTP ssl application does not validate that the PSK identity list and binder list carried in a TLS 1.3 ClientHello pre-shared key extension have equal length before passing them to the session ticket handler. In tls_handshake_1_3:handle_pre_shared_key/3, an OfferedPreSharedKeys record with a mismatched number of identities and binders is forwarded directly to tls_server_session_ticket:use/4, which crashes the session ticket handler process. An unauthenticated remote attacker can send a single crafted ClientHello to a TLS 1.3 server with session tickets enabled (stateful or stateless mode) and permanently disrupt session ticket handling on that listener. New TLS 1.3 handshakes complete but subsequently crash when the server attempts to issue a session ticket, effectively making TLS 1.3 unusable on the affected listener until the ssl application is restarted. TLS 1.2 connections are not affected. This issue affects OTP from OTP 22.2 before OTP 29.0.3, OTP 28.5.0.3 and OTP 27.3.4.14, corresponding to ssl from 9.5 before 11.7.3, 11.6.0.3 and 11.2.12.10.
CVE-2026-65604 1 Zalando 1 Skipper 2026-07-24 8.2 High
Skipper contains an incomplete fix for CVE-2026-50197 in which oversized request bodies bypass Open Policy Agent (OPA) deny-on-presence Rego policies. When a request body exceeds the configured maxBodyBytes limit, Skipper forwards the full payload to the upstream service while OPA evaluates against an empty parsed_body, so policies that deny requests based on body content are not enforced and forbidden actions proceed. No fixed version is available; v0.27.26 adds documentation guidance only.
