CVSS v3.1 |
| A vulnerability has been identified within Rancher where a cluster or node driver can be used to escape the chroot
jail and gain root access to the Rancher container itself. In
production environments, further privilege escalation is possible based
on living off the land within the Rancher container itself. For the test
and development environments, based on a –privileged Docker container,
it is possible to escape the Docker container and gain execution access
on the host system.
This issue affects rancher: from 2.7.0 before 2.7.16, from 2.8.0 before 2.8.9, from 2.9.0 before 2.9.3. |
| There is an improper privilege management vulnerability identified in ManageEngine's Asset Explorer, ServiceDesk Plus, ServiceDesk Plus MSP, and SupportCenter Plus products by Zohocorp.
This vulnerability impacts Asset Explorer versions before 7710, ServiceDesk Plus versions before 15110, ServiceDesk Plus MSP versions before 14940, and SupportCenter Plus versions before 14940. |
| Improper Privilege Management vulnerability in miniOrange WordPress Social Login and Register (Discord, Google, Twitter, LinkedIn) allows Privilege Escalation. This issue affects WordPress Social Login and Register (Discord, Google, Twitter, LinkedIn): from n/a through 7.6.6. |
| Omnissa Horizon Client for Windows contains an LPE Vulnerability. A malicious actor with local access where Horizon Client for Windows is installed may be able to elevate privileges. |
| Privilege escalation vulnerability has been found in Wondershare Dr.Fone version 13.5.21. This vulnerability could allow an attacker to escalate privileges by replacing the binary ‘C:\ProgramData\Wondershare\wsServices\ElevationService.exe’ with a malicious binary. This binary will be executed by SYSTEM automatically. |

| CWE-269: Improper Privilege Management vulnerability exists for two services (of which one managing audit
trail data and the other acting as server managing client request) that could cause a loss of Confidentiality,
Integrity and Availability of engineering workstation when an attacker with standard privilege modifies the
executable path of the windows services. To be exploited, services need to be restarted. |
| Local privilege escalation through insecure DCOM configuration in Valmet DNA versions prior to C2023. The DCOM object Valmet DNA Engineering has permissions that allow it to run commands as a user with the SeImpersonatePrivilege privilege. The SeImpersonatePrivilege privilege is a Windows permission that allows a process to impersonate another user. An attacker can use this vulnerability to escalate their privileges and take complete control of the system. |
| Improper Privilege Management vulnerability in WebWizards SalesKing allows Privilege Escalation. This issue affects SalesKing: from n/a through 1.6.15. |
| On Arista CloudVision systems (virtual or physical on-premise deployments), Zero Touch Provisioning can be used to gain admin privileges on the CloudVision system, with more permissions than necessary, which can be used to query or manipulate system state for devices under management. Note that CloudVision as-a-Service is not affected. |
| A Improper Privilege Management vulnerability in SUSE rancher in RoleTemplateobjects when external=true is set can lead to privilege escalation in specific scenarios. This issue affects rancher: from 2.7.0 before 2.7.14, from 2.8.0 before 2.8.5. |
| The default configuration in ETSI Open-Source MANO (OSM) v.14.x, v.15.x, v.16.x, v.17.x does not impose any restrictions on the authentication attempts performed by the default admin user, allowing a remote attacker to escalate privileges. |
| Improper Privilege Management vulnerability in Astoundify Simple Registration for WooCommerce allows Privilege Escalation. This issue affects Simple Registration for WooCommerce: from n/a through 1.5.6. |
| Symantec Diagnostic Tool (SymDiag), prior to 3.0.79, may be susceptible to a Privilege Escalation vulnerability. |
| An issue with WordPress directory names in WebPros WordPress Toolkit before 6.9.1 allows privilege escalation. |
| Improper Privilege Management vulnerability in WP Sharks s2Member Pro allows Privilege Escalation. This issue affects s2Member Pro: from n/a through 240315. |
| Pearcleaner is a free, source-available and fair-code licensed mac app cleaner. The PearcleanerHelper is a privileged helper tool bundled with the Pearcleaner application. It is registered and activated only after the user approves a system prompt to allow privileged operations. Upon approval, the helper is configured as a LaunchDaemon and runs with root privileges. In versions 4.4.0 through 4.5.1, the helper registers an XPC service (com.alienator88.Pearcleaner.PearcleanerHelper) and accepts unauthenticated connections from any local process. It exposes a method that executes arbitrary shell commands. This allows any local unprivileged user to escalate privileges to root once the helper is approved and active. This issue is fixed in version 4.5.2. |
| react-native-bottom-tabs is a library of Native Bottom Tabs for React Native. In versions 0.9.2 and below, the github/workflows/release-canary.yml GitHub Actions repository workflow improperly used the pull_request_target event trigger, which allowed for untrusted code from a forked pull request to be executed in a privileged context. An attacker could create a pull request containing a malicious preinstall script in the package.json file and then trigger the vulnerable workflow by posting a specific comment (!canary). This allowed for arbitrary code execution, leading to the exfiltration of sensitive secrets such as GITHUB_TOKEN and NPM_TOKEN, and could have allowed an attacker to push malicious code to the repository or publish compromised packages to the NPM registry. There is a remediation commit which removes github/workflows/release-canary.yml, but a version with this fix has yet to be released. |
| CA Client Automation (ITCM) allows non-admin/non-root users to encrypt a string using CAF CLI and SD_ACMD CLI. This would allow the non admin user to access the critical encryption keys which further causes the exploitation of stored credentials. This fix doesn't allow a non-admin/non-root user to execute "caf encrypt"/"sd_acmd encrypt" commands. |
| A non-primary administrator user with admin rights to the web interface but without shell access permissions can display configuration of the device including the master admin password. This vulnerability also allows the user to give themselves shell access with the root gid. |
