CVE-2022-49882 2 Linux, Redhat 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2025-11-10 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: Reject attempts to consume or refresh inactive gfn_to_pfn_cache Reject kvm_gpc_check() and kvm_gpc_refresh() if the cache is inactive. Not checking the active flag during refresh is particularly egregious, as KVM can end up with a valid, inactive cache, which can lead to a variety of use-after-free bugs, e.g. consuming a NULL kernel pointer or missing an mmu_notifier invalidation due to the cache not being on the list of gfns to invalidate. Note, "active" needs to be set if and only if the cache is on the list of caches, i.e. is reachable via mmu_notifier events. If a relevant mmu_notifier event occurs while the cache is "active" but not on the list, KVM will not acquire the cache's lock and so will not serailize the mmu_notifier event with active users and/or kvm_gpc_refresh(). A race between KVM_XEN_ATTR_TYPE_SHARED_INFO and KVM_XEN_HVM_EVTCHN_SEND can be exploited to trigger the bug. 1. CVE-2022-49883 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-11-10 7.1 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: x86: smm: number of GPRs in the SMRAM image depends on the image format On 64 bit host, if the guest doesn't have X86_FEATURE_LM, KVM will access 16 gprs to 32-bit smram image, causing out-ouf-bound ram access. On 32 bit host, the rsm_load_state_64/enter_smm_save_state_64 is compiled out, thus access overflow can't happen.
CVE-2022-49900 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-11-10 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: i2c: piix4: Fix adapter not be removed in piix4_remove() In piix4_probe(), the piix4 adapter will be registered in: piix4_probe() piix4_add_adapters_sb800() / piix4_add_adapter() i2c_add_adapter() Based on the probed device type, piix4_add_adapters_sb800() or single piix4_add_adapter() will be called. For the former case, piix4_adapter_count is set as the number of adapters, while for antoher case it is not set and kept default *zero*. When piix4 is removed, piix4_remove() removes the adapters added in piix4_probe(), basing on the piix4_adapter_count value. Because the count is zero for the single adapter case, the adapter won't be removed and makes the sources allocated for adapter leaked, such as the i2c client and device. These sources can still be accessed by i2c or bus and cause problems. An easily reproduced case is that if a new adapter is registered, i2c will get the leaked adapter and try to call smbus_algorithm, which was already freed: Triggered by: rmmod i2c_piix4 && modprobe max31730 BUG: unable to handle page fault for address: ffffffffc053d860 #PF: supervisor read access in kernel mode #PF: error_code(0x0000) - not-present page Oops: 0000 [#1] PREEMPT SMP KASAN CPU: 0 PID: 3752 Comm: modprobe Tainted: G Hardware name: QEMU Standard PC (i440FX + PIIX, 1996) RIP: 0010:i2c_default_probe (drivers/i2c/i2c-core-base.c:2259) i2c_core RSP: 0018:ffff888107477710 EFLAGS: 00000246 ... <TASK> i2c_detect (drivers/i2c/i2c-core-base.c:2302) i2c_core __process_new_driver (drivers/i2c/i2c-core-base.c:1336) i2c_core bus_for_each_dev (drivers/base/bus.c:301) i2c_for_each_dev (drivers/i2c/i2c-core-base.c:1823) i2c_core i2c_register_driver (drivers/i2c/i2c-core-base.c:1861) i2c_core do_one_initcall (init/main.c:1296) do_init_module (kernel/module/main.c:2455) ... </TASK> ---[ end trace 0000000000000000 ]--- Fix this problem by correctly set piix4_adapter_count as 1 for the single adapter so it can be normally removed.
CVE-2025-37921 2 Debian, Linux 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel 2025-11-10 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: vxlan: vnifilter: Fix unlocked deletion of default FDB entry When a VNI is deleted from a VXLAN device in 'vnifilter' mode, the FDB entry associated with the default remote (assuming one was configured) is deleted without holding the hash lock. This is wrong and will result in a warning [1] being generated by the lockdep annotation that was added by commit ebe642067455 ("vxlan: Create wrappers for FDB lookup"). On RISC-V, early_init_dt_verify() is called twice. Once, directly, in setup_arch() if CONFIG_BUILTIN_DTB is not enabled and once indirectly, very early in the boot process, by parse_dtb() when it calls early_init_dt_scan_nodes(). This first call uses dtb_early_va to set initial_boot_params, which is not usable later in the boot process when early_init_fdt_scan_reserved_mem() is called. On arm64 for example, the corresponding call to early_init_dt_scan_nodes() uses fixmap addresses and doesn't suffer the same fate. Move early_init_fdt_scan_reserved_mem() further along the boot sequence, after the direct call to early_init_dt_verify() in setup_arch() so that the names use the correct virtual memory addresses. The above supposed that CONFIG_BUILTIN_DTB was not set, but should work equally in the case where it is - unflatted_and_copy_device_tree() also updates initial_boot_params.

CVE-2025-37927 2 Debian, Linux 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel 2025-11-10 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iommu/amd: Fix potential buffer overflow in parse_ivrs_acpihid There is a string parsing logic error which can lead to an overflow of hid or uid buffers. Comparing ACPIID_LEN against a total string length doesn't take into account the lengths of individual hid and uid buffers so the check is insufficient in some cases. For example if the length of hid string is 4 and the length of the uid string is 260, the length of str will be equal to ACPIID_LEN + 1 but uid string will overflow uid buffer which size is 256. The same applies to the hid string with length 13 and uid string with length 250. Check the length of hid and uid strings separately to prevent buffer overflow. Found by Linux Verification Center (linuxtesting.org) with SVACE.

And then ata_host_put() is called again, the refcount is decreased to 0, ata_host_release() is called, all ports are freed and set to null. When unbinding the device after failure, ata_host_stop() is called to release the resources, it leads a null-ptr-deref(), because all the ports all freed and null. Unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at virtual address 0000000000000008 CPU: 7 PID: 18671 Comm: modprobe Kdump: loaded Tainted: G E 6.1.0-rc3+ #8 pstate: 80400009 (Nzcv daif +PAN -UAO -TCO -DIT -SSBS BTYPE=--) pc : ata_host_stop+0x3c/0x84 [libata] lr : release_nodes+0x64/0xd0 Call trace: ata_host_stop+0x3c/0x84 [libata] release_nodes+0x64/0xd0 devres_release_all+0xbc/0x1b0 device_unbind_cleanup+0x20/0x70 really_probe+0x158/0x320 __driver_probe_device+0x84/0x120 driver_probe_device+0x44/0x120 __driver_attach+0xb4/0x220 bus_for_each_dev+0x78/0xdc driver_attach+0x2c/0x40 bus_add_driver+0x184/0x240 driver_register+0x80/0x13c __pci_register_driver+0x4c/0x60 ahci_pci_driver_init+0x30/0x1000 [ahci] Fix this by removing redundant ata_host_put() in the error path.

CVE-2025-62429 2 Clip-bucket, Oxygenz 2 Clipbucket, Clipbucket 2025-11-10 7.2 High
ClipBucket v5 is an open source video sharing platform. Prior to version 5.5.2 #147, ClipBucket v5 is vulnerable to arbitrary PHP code execution. In /upload/admin_area/actions/update_launch.php, the "type" parameter from a POST request is embedded into PHP tags and executed. Proper sanitization is not performed, and by injecting malicious code an attacker can execute arbitrary PHP code. This allows an attacker to achieve RCE. This issue has been resolved in version 5.5.2 #147.
CVE-2025-64107 3 Anysphere, Cursor, Microsoft 3 Cursor, Cursor, Windows 2025-11-10 8.8 High
Cursor is a code editor built for programming with AI. In versions 1.7.52 and below, manipulating internal settings may lead to RCE. Cursor detects path manipulation via forward slashes (./.cursor/./././././mcp.json etc.), and requires human approval to complete the operation. However, the same kind of manipulation using backslashes was not correctly detected, allowing an attacker who had already achieved prompt injection or some other level of control to overwrite sensitive editor files without approval on Windows machines. This issue is fixed in version 2.0.
