CVSS v3.1 |
Integer underflow in grub_net_recv_ip4_packets; A malicious crafted IP packet can lead to an integer underflow in grub_net_recv_ip4_packets() function on rsm->total_len value. Under certain circumstances the total_len value may end up wrapping around to a small integer number which will be used in memory allocation. If the attack succeeds in such way, subsequent operations can write past the end of the buffer.
Improper access control for some Intel(R) PROSet/Wireless WiFi and Killer(TM) WiFi software may allow a privileged user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access.
AMI Megarac Password reset interception via API
Redis is an in-memory database that persists on disk. A specially crafted Lua script executing in Redis can trigger a heap overflow in the cjson library, and result with heap corruption and potentially remote code execution. The problem exists in all versions of Redis with Lua scripting support, starting from 2.6, and affects only authenticated and authorized users. The problem is fixed in versions 7.0.12, 6.2.13, and 6.0.20.
| The total size of the user-provided nmreq to nmreq_copyin() was first computed and then trusted during the copyin. This time-of-check to time-of-use bug could lead to kernel memory corruption.
On systems configured to include netmap in their devfs_ruleset, a privileged process running in a jail can affect the host environment. |
VMware Workspace ONE Access, Identity Manager and vRealize Automation contain two remote code execution vulnerabilities (CVE-2022-22957 & CVE-2022-22958). A malicious actor with administrative access can trigger deserialization of untrusted data through malicious JDBC URI which may result in remote code execution.
Insufficient granularity of access control in out-of-band management in some Intel(R) Atom and Intel Xeon Scalable Processors may allow a privileged user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via adjacent network access.
In lldpd before 1.0.13, when decoding SONMP packets in the sonmp_decode function, it's possible to trigger an out-of-bounds heap read via short SONMP packets.
Use after free in DevTools in Google Chrome prior to 91.0.4472.77 allowed an attacker who convinced a user to install a malicious extension to execute arbitrary code via a crafted Chrome Extension. (Chromium security severity: Medium)
Use after free in Blink in Google Chrome prior to 92.0.4515.107 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to perform arbitrary read/write via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High)
Use after free in Blink in Google Chrome prior to 93.0.4577.82 allowed a remote attacker to perform arbitrary read/write via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High)
Object corruption in Blink in Google Chrome prior to 94.0.4606.54 allowed a remote attacker to potentially exploit object corruption via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High)
Use after free in ANGLE in Google Chrome prior to 96.0.4664.93 allowed a remote attacker to perform arbitrary read/write via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High)
A flaw was found in openstack-keystone. Only the first 72 characters of an application secret are verified allowing attackers bypass some password complexity which administrators may be counting on. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to data confidentiality and integrity.
Windows Portmapping Information Disclosure Vulnerability
If was found that the NetTest web service can be used to overload the bandwidth of a Apache OpenMeetings server. This issue was addressed in Apache OpenMeetings 6.0.0
Apache Druid allows users to read data from other database systems using JDBC. This functionality is to allow trusted users with the proper permissions to set up lookups or submit ingestion tasks. The MySQL JDBC driver supports certain properties, which, if left unmitigated, can allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code from a hacker-controlled malicious MySQL server within Druid server processes. This issue was addressed in Apache Druid 0.20.2
In the default configuration, Apache MyFaces Core versions 2.2.0 to 2.2.13, 2.3.0 to 2.3.7, 2.3-next-M1 to 2.3-next-M4, and 3.0.0-RC1 use cryptographically weak implicit and explicit cross-site request forgery (CSRF) tokens. Due to that limitation, it is possible (although difficult) for an attacker to calculate a future CSRF token value and to use that value to trick a user into executing unwanted actions on an application.
Apache Druid includes the ability to execute user-provided JavaScript code embedded in various types of requests. This functionality is intended for use in high-trust environments, and is disabled by default. However, in Druid 0.20.0 and earlier, it is possible for an authenticated user to send a specially-crafted request that forces Druid to run user-provided JavaScript code for that request, regardless of server configuration. This can be leveraged to execute code on the target machine with the privileges of the Druid server process.
CXF supports (via JwtRequestCodeFilter) passing OAuth 2 parameters via a JWT token as opposed to query parameters (see: The OAuth 2.0 Authorization Framework: JWT Secured Authorization Request (JAR)). Instead of sending a JWT token as a "request" parameter, the spec also supports specifying a URI from which to retrieve a JWT token from via the "request_uri" parameter. CXF was not validating the "request_uri" parameter (apart from ensuring it uses "https) and was making a REST request to the parameter in the request to retrieve a token. This means that CXF was vulnerable to DDos attacks on the authorization server, as specified in section 10.4.1 of the spec. This issue affects Apache CXF versions prior to 3.4.3; Apache CXF versions prior to 3.3.10.
