CVSS v3.1 |
Core FTP Lite 1.3 contains a buffer overflow vulnerability in the username input field that allows attackers to crash the application by supplying oversized input. Attackers can generate a 7000-byte payload of repeated 'A' characters to trigger an application crash without requiring additional interaction.
Parallaxis Cuckoo Clock 5.0 contains a buffer overflow vulnerability that allows attackers to execute arbitrary code by overwriting memory registers in the alarm scheduling feature. Attackers can craft a malicious payload exceeding 260 bytes to overwrite EIP and EBP, enabling shellcode execution with potential remote code execution.
dataSIMS Avionics ARINC 664-1 version 4.5.3 contains a local buffer overflow vulnerability that allows attackers to overwrite memory by manipulating the milstd1553result.txt file. Attackers can craft a malicious file with carefully constructed payload and alignment sections to potentially execute arbitrary code on the Windows system.
There is an out-of-bounds read vulnerability in some Hikvision NVRs. An authenticated attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending specially crafted messages to a vulnerable device, causing a service abnormality.
home 5G HR02, Wi-Fi STATION SH-52B, and Wi-Fi STATION SH-54C contain a buffer overflow vulnerability in the hidden debug function. A remote unauthenticated attacker may get the web console of the product down.
Heap buffer overflow in the server site handshake implementation in Real Time Logic LLC's SharkSSL version (from 05/05/24) commit 64808a5e12c83b38f85c943dee0112e428dc2a43 allows a remote attacker to trigger a Denial-of-Service via a malformed Client-Hello message.
NetPCLinker 1.0.0.0 contains a buffer overflow vulnerability in the Clients Control Panel DNS/IP field that allows attackers to execute arbitrary shellcode. Attackers can craft a malicious payload in the DNS/IP input to overwrite SEH handlers and execute shellcode when adding a new client.
| A heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability exists in VS6Sim.exe contained in V-SFT and TELLUS provided by FUJI ELECTRIC CO., LTD.
Opening V9 files or X1 files specially crafted by an attacker on the affected product may lead to arbitrary code execution. |
A potential security vulnerability has been identified in certain HP PC products using AMI BIOS, which might allow arbitrary code execution. AMI has released firmware updates to mitigate this vulnerability.
Buffer Overflow vulnerability in Extreme Networks IQ Engine before 10.6r1a, and through 10.6r4 before 10.6r5, allows an attacker to execute arbitrary code via the implementation of the ah_auth service
The Tillitis TKey signer device application is an ed25519 signing tool. A vulnerability has been found that makes it possible to disclose portions of the TKey’s data in RAM over the USB interface. To exploit the vulnerability an attacker needs to use a custom client application and to touch the TKey. No secret is disclosed. All client applications integrating tkey-device-signer should upgrade to version 1.0.0 to receive a fix. No known workarounds are available.
slpd-lite is a unicast SLP UDP server. Any OpenBMC system that includes the slpd-lite package is impacted. Installing this package is the default when building OpenBMC. Nefarious users can send slp packets to the BMC using UDP port 427 to cause memory overflow issues within the slpd-lite daemon on the BMC. Patches will be available in the latest openbmc/slpd-lite repository.
Buffer Overflow vulnerability in host-host NEUQ_board v.1.0 allows a remote attacker to cause a denial of service via the password.h component.
ntfs3 in the Linux kernel through 6.8.0 allows a physically proximate attacker to read kernel memory by mounting a filesystem (e.g., if a Linux distribution is configured to allow unprivileged mounts of removable media) and then leveraging local access to trigger an out-of-bounds read. A length value can be larger than the amount of memory allocated. NOTE: the supplier's perspective is that there is no vulnerability when an attack requires an attacker-modified filesystem image.
KubePi is a K8s panel. Starting in version 1.6.3 and prior to version 1.8.0, there is a defect in the KubePi JWT token verification. The JWT key in the default configuration file is empty. Although a random 32-bit string will be generated to overwrite the key in the configuration file when the key is detected to be empty in the configuration file reading logic, the key is empty during actual verification. Using an empty key to generate a JWT token can bypass the login verification and directly take over the back end. Version 1.8.0 contains a patch for this issue.
A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in bwoodsend rockhopper up to 0.1.2. Affected by this issue is the function count_rows of the file rockhopper/src/ragged_array.c of the component Binary Parser. The manipulation of the argument raw leads to buffer overflow. Local access is required to approach this attack. Upgrading to version 0.2.0 is able to address this issue. The name of the patch is 1a15fad5e06ae693eb9b8908363d2c8ef455104e. It is recommended to upgrade the affected component. The identifier of this vulnerability is VDB-266312.
ESP-NOW Component provides a connectionless Wi-Fi communication protocol. An Out-of-Bound (OOB) vulnerability was discovered in the implementation of the ESP-NOW group type message because there is no check for the addrs_num field of the group type message. This can result in memory corruption related attacks. Normally there are two fields in the group information that need to be checked, i.e., the addrs_num field and the addrs_list fileld. Since we only checked the addrs_list field, an attacker can send a group type message with an invalid addrs_num field, which will cause the message handled by the firmware to be much larger than the current buffer, thus causing a memory corruption issue that goes beyond the payload length.
A stack-buffer-overflow vulnerability exists in the read_charset_decl function of html2xhtml 1.3. This vulnerability occurs due to improper bounds checking when copying data into a fixed-size stack buffer. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability by providing a specially crafted input to the vulnerable function, causing a buffer overflow and potentially leading to arbitrary code execution, denial of service, or data corruption.
libglxproto.c in OpenGL libglvnd bb06db5a was discovered to contain a segmentation violation via the function glXGetDrawableScreen(). NOTE: this is disputed because there are no common situations in which users require uninterrupted operation with an attacker-controller server.
Inclusion of undocumented features or chicken bits issue exists in AE1021 firmware versions 2.0.10 and earlier and AE1021PE firmware versions 2.0.10 and earlier, which may allow a logged-in user to enable telnet service.
