Cast in Google Chrome prior to 57.0.2987.98 for Mac, Windows, and Linux and 57.0.2987.108 for Android sent cookies to sites discovered via SSDP, which allowed an attacker on the local network segment to initiate connections to arbitrary URLs and observe any plaintext cookies sent.
CVE-2017-6445 1 Openelec 1 Openelec 2025-04-20 N/A
The auto-update feature of Open Embedded Linux Entertainment Center (OpenELEC) 6.0.3, 7.0.1, and 8.0.4 uses neither encrypted connections nor signed updates. A man-in-the-middle attacker could manipulate the update packages to gain root access remotely.

CVE-2015-9107 1 Zohocorp 1 Manageengine Opmanager 2025-04-20 N/A
Zoho ManageEngine OpManager 11 through 12.2 uses a custom encryption algorithm to protect the credential used to access the monitored devices. The implemented algorithm doesn't use a per-system key or even a salt; therefore, it's possible to create a universal decryptor.
CVE-2015-9003 1 Google 1 Android 2025-04-20 N/A
In TrustZone a cryptographic issue can potentially occur in all Android releases from CAF using the Linux kernel.
CVE-2017-15581 1 Writediary 1 Diary With Lock 2025-04-20 N/A
In the "Diary with lock" (aka WriteDiary) application 4.72 for Android, neither HTTPS nor other encryption is used for transmitting data, despite the documentation that the product is intended for "a personal journal of ... secrets and feelings," which allows remote attackers to obtain sensitive information by sniffing the network during LoginActivity or NoteActivity execution.
CVE-2017-13663 1 Ismartalarm 2 Cubeone, Cubeone Firmware 2025-04-20 N/A
Encryption key exposure in firmware in iSmartAlarm CubeOne version 2.2.4.8 and earlier allows attackers to decrypt log files via an exposed key.
CVE-2017-9632 1 Pdqinc 22 Laserjet, Laserjet Firmware, Laserwash 360 and 19 more 2025-04-20 N/A
A Missing Encryption of Sensitive Data issue was discovered in PDQ Manufacturing LaserWash G5 and G5 S Series all versions, LaserWash M5, all versions, LaserWash 360 and 360 Plus, all versions, LaserWash AutoXpress and AutoExpress Plus, all versions, LaserJet, all versions, ProTouch Tandem, all versions, ProTouch ICON, all versions, and ProTouch AutoGloss, all versions. The username and password are transmitted insecurely.
CVE-2016-0736 2 Apache, Redhat 4 Http Server, Enterprise Linux, Jboss Core Services and 1 more 2025-04-20 N/A
In Apache HTTP Server versions 2.4.0 to 2.4.23, mod_session_crypto was encrypting its data/cookie using the configured ciphers with possibly either CBC or ECB modes of operation (AES256-CBC by default), hence no selectable or builtin authenticated encryption. This made it vulnerable to padding oracle attacks, particularly with CBC.
CVE-2017-17844 2 Debian, Enigmail 2 Debian Linux, Enigmail 2025-04-20 N/A
An issue was discovered in Enigmail before 1.9.9. A remote attacker can obtain cleartext content by sending an encrypted data block (that the attacker cannot directly decrypt) to a victim, and relying on the victim to automatically decrypt that block and then send it back to the attacker as quoted text, aka the TBE-01-005 "replay" issue.
CVE-2017-1181 1 Ibm 1 Tivoli Monitoring 2025-04-20 N/A
IBM Tivoli Monitoring Portal V6 client could allow a local attacker to gain elevated privileges for IBM Tivoli Monitoring, caused by the default console connection not being encrypted. IBM X-Force ID: 123487.
CVE-2015-8234 1 Openstack 1 Glance 2025-04-20 N/A
The image signature algorithm in OpenStack Glance 11.0.0 allows remote attackers to bypass the signature verification process via a crafted image, which triggers an MD5 collision.
CVE-2017-17763 1 Liveqos 1 Superbeam 2025-04-20 7.5 High
SuperBeam through 4.1.3, when using the LAN or WiFi Direct Share feature, does not use HTTPS or any integrity-protection mechanism for file transfer, which makes it easier for remote attackers to send crafted files, as demonstrated by APK injection.
CVE-2017-14486 1 Vibease 2 Chat, Wireless Remote Vibrator 2025-04-20 N/A
The Vibease Wireless Remote Vibrator app for Android and the Vibease Chat app for iOS use cleartext to exchange messages with other apps and the PLAIN SASL mechanism to send auth tokens to Vibease servers, which allows remote attackers to obtain user credentials, messages, and other sensitive information by sniffing the network for XMPP traffic.
CVE-2017-15042 2 Golang, Redhat 3 Go, Devtools, Enterprise Linux 2025-04-20 N/A
An unintended cleartext issue exists in Go before 1.8.4 and 1.9.x before 1.9.1. RFC 4954 requires that, during SMTP, the PLAIN auth scheme must only be used on network connections secured with TLS. The original implementation of smtp.PlainAuth in Go 1.0 enforced this requirement, and it was documented to do so. In 2013, upstream issue #5184, this was changed so that the server may decide whether PLAIN is acceptable. The result is that if you set up a man-in-the-middle SMTP server that doesn't advertise STARTTLS and does advertise that PLAIN auth is OK, the smtp.PlainAuth implementation sends the username and password.
CVE-2017-6432 1 Dahuasecurity 2 Dhi-hcvr7216a-s3, Nvr Firmware 2025-04-20 N/A
An issue was discovered on Dahua DHI-HCVR7216A-S3 3.210.0001.10 build 2016-06-06 devices. The Dahua DVR Protocol, which operates on TCP Port 37777, is an unencrypted, binary protocol. Performing a Man-in-the-Middle attack allows both sniffing and injections of packets, which allows creation of fully privileged new users, in addition to capture of sensitive information.
CVE-2017-9604 1 Kde 3 Kde, Kmail, Messagelib 2025-04-20 N/A
KDE kmail before 5.5.2 and messagelib before 5.5.2, as distributed in KDE Applications before 17.04.2, do not ensure that a plugin's sign/encrypt action occurs during use of the Send Later feature, which allows remote attackers to obtain sensitive information by sniffing the network.
CVE-2014-7808 1 Apache 1 Wicket 2025-04-20 7.5 High
Apache Wicket before 1.5.13, 6.x before 6.19.0, and 7.x before 7.0.0-M5 make it easier for attackers to defeat a cryptographic protection mechanism and predict encrypted URLs by leveraging use of CryptoMapper as the default encryption provider.
CVE-2016-6341 1 Ovirt 1 Ovirt 2025-04-20 N/A
oVirt Engine before 4.0.3 does not include DWH_DB_PASSWORD in the list of keys to hide in log files, which allows local users to obtain sensitive password information by reading engine log files.
CVE-2017-15999 1 Nq 1 Contacts Backup \& Restore 2025-04-20 N/A
In the "NQ Contacts Backup & Restore" application 1.1 for Android, no HTTPS is used for transmitting login and synced user data. When logging in, the username is transmitted in cleartext along with an SHA-1 hash of the password. The attacker can either crack this hash or use it for further attacks where only the hash value is required.
