CVSS v3.1 |
| Acme mini_httpd before 1.16 allows remote attackers to view sensitive files under the document root (such as .htpasswd) via a GET request with a trailing /. |
| Modifications to ACLs (Access Control Lists) in Microsoft Exchange 5.5 do not take effect until the directory store cache is refreshed. |
| Linux SCTP (lksctp) before 2.6.17 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (deadlock) via a large number of small messages to a receiver application that cannot process the messages quickly enough, which leads to "spillover of the receive buffer." |
| Race condition in Linux 2.6, when threads are sharing memory mapping via CLONE_VM (such as linuxthreads and vfork), might allow local users to cause a denial of service (deadlock) by triggering a core dump while waiting for a thread that has just performed an exec. |
| mod_cgi in Apache 2.0.39 and 2.0.40 allows local users and possibly remote attackers to cause a denial of service (hang and memory consumption) by causing a CGI script to send a large amount of data to stderr, which results in a read/write deadlock between httpd and the CGI script. |
| SMTP service in Microsoft Windows 2000, Windows XP Professional, and Exchange 2000 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service via a command with a malformed data transfer (BDAT) request. |
| The handle_stop_signal function in signal.c in Linux kernel 2.6.11 up to other versions before 2.6.13 and 2.6.12.6 allows local users to cause a denial of service (deadlock) by sending a SIGKILL to a real-time threaded process while it is performing a core dump. |
| dump 0.4 b10 through b29 allows local users to cause a denial of service (execution prevention) by using flock() to lock the /etc/dumpdates file. |
| The Server Message Block (SMB) driver (MRXSMB.SYS) in Microsoft Windows 2000 SP4, XP SP1 and SP2, and Server 2003 SP1 and earlier allows local users to cause a denial of service (hang) by calling the MrxSmbCscIoctlCloseForCopyChunk with the file handle of the shadow device, which results in a deadlock, aka the "SMB Invalid Handle Vulnerability." |
| Concurrent Versions Software (CVS) uses predictable temporary file names for locking, which allows local users to cause a denial of service by creating the lock directory before it is created for use by a legitimate CVS user. |
| Opera 7.54 and earlier does not properly limit an applet's access to internal Java packages from Sun, which allows remote attackers to gain sensitive information, such as user names and the installation directory. |
| Array index overflow in the xfrm_sk_policy_insert function in xfrm_user.c in Linux kernel 2.6 allows local users to cause a denial of service (oops or deadlock) and possibly execute arbitrary code via a p->dir value that is larger than XFRM_POLICY_OUT, which is used as an index in the sock->sk_policy array. |
| curl before version 7.52.1 is vulnerable to an uninitialized random in libcurl's internal function that returns a good 32bit random value. Having a weak or virtually non-existent random value makes the operations that use it vulnerable. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
Revert "f2fs: block cache/dio write during f2fs_enable_checkpoint()"
This reverts commit 196c81fdd438f7ac429d5639090a9816abb9760a.
Original patch may cause below deadlock, revert it.
write remount
- write_begin
- lock_page --- lock A
- prepare_write_begin
- f2fs_map_lock
- f2fs_enable_checkpoint
- down_write(cp_enable_rwsem) --- lock B
- sync_inode_sb
- writepages
- lock_page --- lock A
- down_read(cp_enable_rwsem) --- lock A |
| Apache Airflow versions 3.0.0 through 3.1.8 DagRun wait endpoint returns XCom result values even to users who only have DAG Run read permissions, such as the Viewer role. This behavior conflicts with the FAB RBAC model, which treats XCom as a separate protected resource, and with the security model documentation that defines the Viewer role as read-only.
Airflow uses the FAB Auth Manager to manage access control on a per-resource basis. The Viewer role is intended to be read-only by default, and the security model documentation defines Viewer users as those who can inspect DAGs without accessing sensitive execution results.
Users are recommended to upgrade to Apache Airflow 3.2.0 which resolves this issue. |
| Binding to an unrestricted ip address in Azure IoT Explorer allows an unauthorized attacker to disclose information over a network. |
| Electron is a framework for writing cross-platform desktop applications using JavaScript, HTML and CSS. From versions 39.0.0-alpha.1 to before 39.8.0, 40.0.0-alpha.1 to before 40.7.0, and 41.0.0-alpha.1 to before 41.0.0-beta.8, apps that pass VideoFrame objects (from the WebCodecs API) across the contextBridge are vulnerable to a context isolation bypass. An attacker who can execute JavaScript in the main world (for example, via XSS) can use a bridged VideoFrame to gain access to the isolated world, including any Node.js APIs exposed to the preload script. Apps are only affected if a preload script returns, resolves, or passes a VideoFrame object to the main world via contextBridge.exposeInMainWorld(). Apps that do not bridge VideoFrame objects are not affected. This issue has been patched in versions 39.8.0, 40.7.0, and 41.0.0-beta.8. |
| Biscuit is an authorization token with decentralized verification, offline attenuation and strong security policy enforcement based on a logic language. Third-party blocks can be generated without transferring the whole token to the third-party authority. Instead, a `ThirdPartyBlock` request can be sent, providing only the necessary info to generate a third-party block and to sign it: 1. the public key of the previous block (used in the signature), 2. the public keys part of the token symbol table (for public key interning in datalog expressions). A third-part block request forged by a malicious user can trick the third-party authority into generating datalog trusting the wrong keypair. Tokens with third-party blocks containing `trusted` annotations generated through a third party block request. This has been addressed in version 4 of the specification. Users are advised to update their implementations to conform. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability. |
| Improper locking for some Intel(R) TDX Module firmware before version 1.5.13 may allow a privileged user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access. |
| Improper Verification of Source of a Communication Channel in Work Desktop for Mac versions 10.8.1.46 and earlier
allows attackers to execute arbitrary commands via unauthorized access to the Agent service.
This has been remediated in Work Desktop for Mac version 10.8.2.33. |
