CVSS v3.1 |
| An incomplete blacklist exists in the .htaccess sample of WWBN AVideo 14.4 and dev master commit 8a8954ff. A specially crafted HTTP request can lead to a arbitrary code execution. An attacker can request a .phar file to trigger this vulnerability. |
| A null pointer dereference vulnerability exists in the Distributed Transaction component of Bloomberg Comdb2 8.1 when processing a number of fields used for coordination. A specially crafted protocol buffer message can lead to a denial of service. An attacker can simply connect to a database instance over TCP and send the crafted message to trigger this vulnerability. |
| Mbed TLS before 3.6.4 allows a use-after-free in certain situations of applications that are developed in accordance with the documentation. The function mbedtls_x509_string_to_names() takes a head argument that is documented as an output argument. The documentation does not suggest that the function will free that pointer; however, the function does call mbedtls_asn1_free_named_data_list() on that argument, which performs a deep free(). As a result, application code that uses this function (relying only on documented behavior) is likely to still hold pointers to the memory blocks that were freed, resulting in a high risk of use-after-free or double-free. In particular, the two sample programs x509/cert_write and x509/cert_req are affected (use-after-free if the san string contains more than one DN). |
| Asterisk is an open-source private branch exchange (PBX). Prior to versions 18.26.2, 20.14.1, 21.9.1, and 22.4.1 of Asterisk and versions 18.9-cert14 and 20.7-cert5 of certified-asterisk, trying to disallow shell commands to be run via the Asterisk command line interface (CLI) by configuring `cli_permissions.conf` (e.g. with the config line `deny=!*`) does not work which could lead to a security risk. If an administrator running an Asterisk instance relies on the `cli_permissions.conf` file to work and expects it to deny all attempts to execute shell commands, then this could lead to a security vulnerability. Versions 18.26.2, 20.14.1, 21.9.1, and 22.4.1 of Asterisk and versions 18.9-cert14 and 20.7-cert5 of certified-asterisk fix the issue. |
| Asterisk is an open-source private branch exchange (PBX). Prior to versions 18.26.2, 20.14.1, 21.9.1, and 22.4.1 of Asterisk and versions 18.9-cert14 and 20.7-cert5 of certified-asterisk, SIP requests of the type MESSAGE (RFC 3428) authentication do not get proper alignment. An authenticated attacker can spoof any user identity to send spam messages to the user with their authorization token. Abuse of this security issue allows authenticated attackers to send fake chat messages can be spoofed to appear to come from trusted entities. Even administrators who follow Security best practices and Security Considerations can be impacted. Therefore, abuse can lead to spam and enable social engineering, phishing and similar attacks. Versions 18.26.2, 20.14.1, 21.9.1, and 22.4.1 of Asterisk and versions 18.9-cert14 and 20.7-cert5 of certified-asterisk fix the issue. |
| Improper Handling of Case Sensitivity vulnerability in Apache Tomcat's GCI servlet allows security constraint bypass of security constraints that apply to the pathInfo component of a URI mapped to the CGI servlet.
This issue affects Apache Tomcat: from 11.0.0-M1 through 11.0.6, from 10.1.0-M1 through 10.1.40, from 9.0.0.M1 through 9.0.104.
The following versions were EOL at the time the CVE was created but are
known to be affected: 8.5.0 though 8.5.100. Other, older, EOL versions
may also be affected.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 11.0.7, 10.1.41 or 9.0.105, which fixes the issue. |
| A denial of service vulnerability exists in the Distributed Transaction Commit/Abort Operation functionality of Bloomberg Comdb2 8.1. A specially crafted network packet can lead to a denial of service. An attacker can send a malicious packet to trigger this vulnerability. |
| RUCKUS SmartZone (SZ) before 6.1.2p3 Refresh Build allows OS command injection via a certain parameter in an API route. |
| Ruckus SmartZone (SZ) before 6.1.2p3 Refresh Build allows authentication bypass via a valid API key and crafted HTTP headers. |
| RUCKUS Network Director (RND) before 4.5 allows jailed users to obtain root access vis a weak, hardcoded password. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
jfs: fix slab-out-of-bounds read in ea_get()
During the "size_check" label in ea_get(), the code checks if the extended
attribute list (xattr) size matches ea_size. If not, it logs
"ea_get: invalid extended attribute" and calls print_hex_dump().
Here, EALIST_SIZE(ea_buf->xattr) returns 4110417968, which exceeds
INT_MAX (2,147,483,647). Then ea_size is clamped:
int size = clamp_t(int, ea_size, 0, EALIST_SIZE(ea_buf->xattr));
Although clamp_t aims to bound ea_size between 0 and 4110417968, the upper
limit is treated as an int, causing an overflow above 2^31 - 1. This leads
"size" to wrap around and become negative (-184549328).
The "size" is then passed to print_hex_dump() (called "len" in
print_hex_dump()), it is passed as type size_t (an unsigned
type), this is then stored inside a variable called
"int remaining", which is then assigned to "int linelen" which
is then passed to hex_dump_to_buffer(). In print_hex_dump()
the for loop, iterates through 0 to len-1, where len is
18446744073525002176, calling hex_dump_to_buffer()
on each iteration:
for (i = 0; i < len; i += rowsize) {
linelen = min(remaining, rowsize);
remaining -= rowsize;
hex_dump_to_buffer(ptr + i, linelen, rowsize, groupsize,
linebuf, sizeof(linebuf), ascii);
...
}
The expected stopping condition (i < len) is effectively broken
since len is corrupted and very large. This eventually leads to
the "ptr+i" being passed to hex_dump_to_buffer() to get closer
to the end of the actual bounds of "ptr", eventually an out of
bounds access is done in hex_dump_to_buffer() in the following
for loop:
for (j = 0; j < len; j++) {
if (linebuflen < lx + 2)
goto overflow2;
ch = ptr[j];
...
}
To fix this we should validate "EALIST_SIZE(ea_buf->xattr)"
before it is utilised. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
udmabuf: fix a buf size overflow issue during udmabuf creation
by casting size_limit_mb to u64 when calculate pglimit. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
wifi: at76c50x: fix use after free access in at76_disconnect
The memory pointed to by priv is freed at the end of at76_delete_device
function (using ieee80211_free_hw). But the code then accesses the udev
field of the freed object to put the USB device. This may also lead to a
memory leak of the usb device. Fix this by using udev from interface. |
| A cross-site scripting (xss) vulnerability exists in the LoginWordPress loginForm cancelUri parameter functionality of WWBN AVideo 14.4 and dev master commit 8a8954ff. A specially crafted HTTP request can lead to arbitrary Javascript execution. An attacker can get a user to visit a webpage to trigger this vulnerability. |
| A null pointer dereference vulnerability exists in the net_connectmsg Protocol Buffer Message functionality of Bloomberg Comdb2 8.1. A specially crafted network packets can lead to a denial of service. An attacker can send packets to trigger this vulnerability. |
| A denial of service vulnerability exists in the Bloomberg Comdb2 8.1 database when handling a distributed transaction heartbeat. A specially crafted protocol buffer message can lead to a denial of service. An attacker can simply connect to a database instance over TCP and send the crafted message to trigger this vulnerability. |
| A null pointer dereference vulnerability exists in the CDB2SQLQUERY protocol buffer message handling of Bloomberg Comdb2 8.1. A specially crafted protocol buffer message can lead to a denial of service. An attacker can simply connect to a database instance over TCP and send the crafted message to trigger this vulnerability. |
| A memory corruption vulnerability exists in Foxit Reader 2025.1.0.27937 due to the use of an uninitialized pointer. A specially crafted Javascript code inside a malicious PDF document can trigger this vulnerability, which can lead to memory corruption and result in arbitrary code execution. An attacker needs to trick the user into opening the malicious file to trigger this vulnerability. Exploitation is also possible if a user visits a specially crafted, malicious site if the browser plugin extension is enabled. |
| Improper Input Validation vulnerability in Apache Tomcat. Incorrect error handling for some invalid HTTP priority headers resulted in incomplete clean-up of the failed request which created a memory leak. A large number of such requests could trigger an OutOfMemoryException resulting in a denial of service.
This issue affects Apache Tomcat: from 9.0.76 through 9.0.102, from 10.1.10 through 10.1.39, from 11.0.0-M2 through 11.0.5.
The following versions were EOL at the time the CVE was created but are
known to be affected: 8.5.90 though 8.5.100.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 9.0.104, 10.1.40 or 11.0.6 which fix the issue. |
| A firmware update vulnerability exists in the Firmware Signature Validation functionality of Tenda AC6 V5.0 V02.03.01.110. A specially crafted malicious file can lead to arbitrary code execution. An attacker can provide a malicious file to trigger this vulnerability. |
