CVSS v3.1 |
| ** UNSUPPORTED WHEN ASSIGNED ** Deserialization of Untrusted Data vulnerability in Apache Lucy.
This issue affects Apache Lucy: all versions.
As this project is retired, we do not plan to release a version that fixes this issue. Users are recommended to find an alternative or restrict access to the instance to trusted users.
Lucy is now maintained outside of the ASF at https://github.com/lucysearch . 0.8.0 is no longer affected by this issue, because the offending feature has been removed there.
NOTE: This vulnerability only affects products that are no longer supported by the maintainer. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ALSA: usb-audio: Complete cleanup after system-resume errors
A failed system resume can leave the card unusable until reboot.
usb_audio_resume() jumps to err_out when snd_usb_pcm_resume() or
snd_usb_mixer_resume() fails. The error path skips the out: block, which
restores D0 and decrements chip->num_suspended_intf.
The card stays in SNDRV_CTL_POWER_D3hot, so later control access blocks in
snd_power_ref_and_wait(). USB core logs an interface resume callback error.
It does not retry that callback, so a later callback cannot complete the
skipped cleanup.
usb_audio_suspend() increments num_suspended_intf before returning success.
A system-resume callback must consume the system-suspend count even if a
component resume fails. Otherwise, the stranded count skews later suspend
and resume cycles.
Do not apply this cleanup to runtime-resume errors. Runtime PM can retry
-EAGAIN or -EBUSY without another suspend callback. The count must continue
to describe that suspended interface. Other runtime-resume errors latch
runtime_error in the PM core and do not cause an immediate callback retry.
Both parts of the system-resume error path are longstanding. Commit
88a8516a2128a ("ALSA: usbaudio: implement USB autosuspend") introduced
err_out past the D0 restore. Commit 862b2509d157c ("ALSA: usb-audio: Fix
inconsistent card PM state after resume") later moved
num_suspended_intf-- into the out: block. The error path now skips both
operations.
No third-party code is needed to reach the error path.
snd_usb_mixer_resume() ends in snd_usb_mixer_activate(), which returns the
result of usb_submit_urb() for devices that have a mixer status URB. Its
mixer->private_resume hook can also fail through scarlett2_init_notify().
snd_usb_pcm_resume() issues a SET_CUR request to a UAC3 power domain. It
can return -EPIPE or -EIO when the device stalls the request.
Route a component error through out: only when system_suspend is nonzero.
Continue to return runtime-resume errors through err_out. Later component
resume stages remain skipped. The original error still reaches USB core.
A later transfer can fail if the device did not recover.
I reproduced the system-resume failure on an Audient iD14 MkI with an
out-of-tree diagnostic mixer resume hook. An injected -EIO on the unpatched
core left control readers in uninterruptible sleep in
snd_power_ref_and_wait() until a reboot. With this patch, the same failure
restored control access. A second system suspend and resume also succeeded
after I disabled fault injection. |

| xiaobei through 5.5.2 fails to implement authentication or signature validation on webhook endpoints, allowing unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary messages into the agent pipeline. Attackers can publish malicious messages via the /webhook_worktool handler and exploit unvalidated media URL fetching to perform server-side request forgery against internal services. |
| Helicone's VaultManager.getDecryptedProviderKeyById() function in the GET /v1/vault/key/{providerKeyId} endpoint fails to validate the requester's organization against the vault key's organization identifier. Attackers with admin or owner privileges in any organization can retrieve decrypted upstream provider credentials for other tenants, including plaintext OpenAI, Anthropic, and Bedrock API keys. |
| Gardens v2 is a modular governance framework that enables communities to create and manage multiple governance pools with customizable parameters and voting mechanisms. In dfba919e218e20d52db9f7b2e8d292d45a46c91b and prior, normal beneficiary payout paths in StreamingEscrow preserve depositAmount() while an active stream needs an escrow reserve. However, the approve-side dispute resolution path drains the whole available escrow balance to the proposal beneficiary. At time of publication, there are no publicly known patches. |
| pymonocypher uses cython to wrap the Monocypher C library. Prior to version 4.0.2.8, the argon2i_32 implementation does not check the nb_blocks size. If the caller does not provide a sufficiently large buffer based on the API contract, then argon2i_32 will write past the end of the buffer and possibly corrupt the heap. This issue has been patched in version 4.0.2.8. |

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ksmbd: add a WRITE_DAC/WRITE_OWNER check to SMB2 SET_INFO SECURITY
commit cc57232cae23 ("ksmbd: fix FSCTL permission bypass by adding a
permission check for FSCTL_SET_SPARSE") added a fp->daccess gate to
fsctl_set_sparse and noted that "similar handle-level checks exist in other
functions but are missing here." The SMB2 SET_INFO SECURITY arm is one of
the missing ones, and the most security-relevant: smb2_set_info_sec() calls
set_info_sec() with no per-handle access check.
set_info_sec() (fs/smb/server/smbacl.c) re-permissions the file: it
rewrites owner/group/mode via notify_change(), rewrites the POSIX ACL via
set_posix_acl(), and on KSMBD_SHARE_FLAG_ACL_XATTR shares removes and
rewrites the Windows security descriptor via ksmbd_vfs_set_sd_xattr().
Every other persistent-mutation arm of the sibling handler
smb2_set_info_file() checks fp->daccess first (FILE_WRITE_DATA /
FILE_DELETE / FILE_WRITE_EA / FILE_WRITE_ATTRIBUTES); the SECURITY arm —
which mutates the access control itself — is the only one with no gate.
A client can therefore open a handle with FILE_WRITE_ATTRIBUTES only (no
FILE_WRITE_DAC / FILE_WRITE_OWNER) and use SMB2_SET_INFO with InfoType
SMB2_O_INFO_SECURITY to rewrite the file's DACL and owner, granting itself
access the handle's daccess never carried. Unlike the FSCTL data arms this
is a metadata/xattr operation, so there is no FMODE_WRITE VFS backstop —
the missing fp->daccess check is the entire gate.
Setting a security descriptor is the WRITE_DAC / WRITE_OWNER operation, so
require at least one of those on the handle before re-permissioning the
file. -EACCES is mapped to STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED by smb2_set_info(). |

To exploit this vulnerability, a SNS administrator with appropriate permissions must inject some malicious script in a group’s comments in the webservices administration interface. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
Bluetooth: btnxpuart: Fix out-of-bounds firmware read in nxp_recv_fw_req_v3()
During the v3 firmware download the controller sends a v3_data_req with a
32 bit offset and a 16 bit len. nxp_recv_fw_req_v3() checks only the lower
bound of the offset and then sends firmware from that offset.
nxpdev->fw_dnld_v3_offset = offset - nxpdev->fw_v3_offset_correction;
serdev_device_write_buf(nxpdev->serdev, nxpdev->fw->data +
nxpdev->fw_dnld_v3_offset, len);
Nothing checks that fw_dnld_v3_offset + len stays within nxpdev->fw->size,
so a controller that asks for an offset or length past the firmware image
makes the driver read past the end of nxpdev->fw->data and send that
memory back over UART.
nxp_recv_fw_req_v1() already bounds the same write. Add the equivalent
check to the v3 path, reject the request when it falls outside the firmware
image, and zero len on the error path so the fw_v3_prev_sent bookkeeping at
free_skb stays consistent. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
netfilter: flowtable: IPIP tunnel hardware offload is not yet support
No driver supports for IPIP tunnels yet, give up early on setting up the
hardware offload for this scenario.
This patch adds a stub that can be enhanced to add more configuration
that are currently not supported. As of now, the offload work is
enqueued to the worker, then ignored if the hardware offload
configuration is not supported.
Check the NF_FLOW_HW flag to know if this entry was already tried once
to be offloaded so this is not retried on refresh when unsupported. Move
NF_FLOW_HW flag check to nf_flow_offload_add(). If this NF_FLOW_HW flag
is unset the _del and _stats variants are never called.
This can be updated later on to skip hardware offload work to be queued
in case hardware offload does not support it. |
