CVSS v3.1 |
| The go-getter library up to versions 1.8.8 and 2.2.3 is vulnerable to a privilege escalation issue in its archive decompression handling that may allow a crafted archive to cause extracted files to be created with elevated permission bits. Where extraction is performed by a privileged user, this may allow a local actor to obtain the privileges of the extracting process. This vulnerability (CVE-2026-88922) is fixed in go-getter 1.8.9 and 2.2.4. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
dm-integrity: replace forgeable discard filler with a keyed sector marker
The discard-block check in dm_integrity_rw_tag() treats a stored tag
of all 0xf6 bytes (DISCARD_FILLER) as proof a block was discarded and
skips HMAC verification. allow_discards is only accepted in
dm-integrity's standalone mode. An attacker with raw write access to
the backing device, but without the integrity key, can stamp any block
with an all-0xf6 tag and have it served as authentic.
Add a new "allow_discards_keyed" target argument that marks discarded
blocks with a keyed checksum of (salt || sector) instead, computed by
integrity_discard_checksum(). |
| Local privilege escalation due to insecure file permissions. The following products are affected: Acronis Backup plugin for cPanel & WHM (Linux) before build 1.9.3.1021, Acronis Backup extension for Plesk (Linux) before build 1.8.11.638, Acronis Backup plugin for DirectAdmin (Linux) before build 1.2.3.238. |
| Dell Repository Manager, versions prior to 3.5.2, contains an Incorrect Default Permissions vulnerability. A low privileged attacker with remote access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Elevation of privileges. |
| Nextflow is a DSL for data-driven computational pipelines. From 25.09.2-edge until 25.10.6 and 26.04.3, nextflow auth login writes Seqera Platform OIDC bearer tokens to ${NXF_HOME:-~/.nextflow}/seqera-auth.config through AuthCommandImpl.writeConfig in plugins/nf-tower/src/main/io/seqera/tower/plugin/auth/AuthCommandImpl.groovy without setting restrictive file permissions, allowing the default umask 022 to create the file with mode 0644. On a multi-user POSIX host, a local user who can traverse the victim's home directory can read seqera-auth.config and impersonate the victim against Seqera Platform within the token's scope. Single-user systems and headless CI runners that do not use the interactive login flow are not affected. This issue is fixed in 25.10.6 and 26.04.3. |
| Strimzi provides a way to run an Apache Kafka cluster on Kubernetes or OpenShift in various deployment configurations. In Strimzi 1.0.0 and earlier, deploying only the Topic Operator or only the User Operator through the Kafka custom resource leaves the Entity Operator ServiceAccount with RBAC permissions for both components. The excess permissions can allow access to KafkaUser custom resources and Secrets when the User Operator is absent, or access to KafkaTopic custom resources when the Topic Operator is absent. This issue is fixed in versions 1.0.1 and 1.1.0. |

| moment is a JavaScript date library for parsing, validating, manipulating, and formatting dates. In versions 2.29.2 through 2.30.1, a specially crafted non-string object passed to moment.locale() can bypass the locale-name path-traversal guard. The guard assumes the input is a string, so an object whose match() method satisfies the check while its toString() returns a traversal path reaches an internal require() call with attacker-controlled path segments. This is an incomplete fix for CVE-2022-24785 and primarily affects npm (server-side) users that pass user-provided input directly to moment.locale(). The issue is fixed in moment 2.31.0, and users should upgrade to 2.31.0 or later. As a workaround, validate that any user-supplied input is a string before passing it to moment.locale(). |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
sysctl: move the "cad_pid" entry from pid_table[] to kern_reboot_table[]
cad_pid is global, and kill_cad_pid() is only used in the root namespace.
However, due to pid_table_root_permissions(), a non-root user can unshare
pid/user namespaces and modify it from the child namespace. This makes no
sense and is simply wrong.
Move it to kern_reboot_table[] where it logically belongs; this ensures
that only GLOBAL_ROOT_UID can read/modify this sysctl.
Note that this patch doesn't preserve "#ifdef CONFIG_PROC_SYSCTL" around
the "cad_pid"; CONFIG_PROC_SYSCTL selects CONFIG_SYSCTL, so it is always
set when kern_reboot_table[] is compiled. |
| Dell SCG 5.0 Appliance versions prior to 5.36.00.16 and Dell SCG 5.0 Application versions prior to 5.36.00.00, contains a Least Privilege Violation vulnerability. A high privileged attacker with local access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to unauthorized access. |
| A potential improper permissions vulnerability was reported in the Lenovo Filez Client application that could allow a local authenticated user to escalate privileges. |
| Permission control vulnerability in the event notification module.Impact: Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may affect availability. |
| Insecure Permission vulnerability in MBS-Solutions X-Serie Gateway firmware V6_00_05 allows the low-privileged service user to execute /usr/bin/tcpdump as root without a password. By leveraging the tcpdump -z option, an authenticated attacker can achieve arbitrary command execution. |
| YesWiki is a wiki system written in PHP. Prior to version 4.6.6, the {{erasespamedcomments}} wiki action (actions/EraseSpamedCommentsAction.php) accepts a suppr[] array from POST and deletes every wiki page whose tag appears in that array, with no authorization check anywhere in the action body or in the page-deletion path it invokes. Combined with YesWiki's allow-by-default action ACL model, any user who has page write access, which is the default for everyone (default_write_acl='*') on a fresh install can permanently delete arbitrary wiki pages, including the front page, admin pages, and pages owned by other users. This issue has been patched in version 4.6.6. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
smb: client: mask server-provided mode to 07777 in modefromsid
When modefromsid is active, parse_dacl() applies the server-provided
sub_auth[2] value from the NFS mode SID to cf_mode without masking to
07777. Apply the correct masking, same as in the read path. |
| OpenVPN 2.0.0 through 2.6.22 and 2.7_alpha1 through 2.7.6 on Windows allows local authenticated users to cause a denial of service via a NULL DACL on named IPC objects |
| Wibu CodeMeter before 8.30a sometimes allows privilege escalation immediately after installation (before a logoff or reboot). For exploitation, there must have been an unprivileged installation with UAC, and the CodeMeter Control Center component must be installed, and the CodeMeter Control Center component must not have been restarted. In this scenario, the local user can navigate from Import License to a privileged instance of Windows Explorer. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ptp: vmclock: prevent read-only mappings from becoming writable
vmclock_miscdev_mmap() rejects writable mappings of the shared vmclock
ABI page with -EROFS, but leaves VM_MAYWRITE set. Userspace can map the
page read-only and then upgrade it to writable with mprotect(), after
which the guest can corrupt the host-written timekeeping data (sequence
counter, UTC time, TSC offset) that the vmclock ABI defines as read-only.
Clear VM_MAYWRITE on the read-only path so the mapping cannot be
upgraded, as i915 does for its read-only objects and as fixed in drm/vc4
(CVE-2026-68445) and drm/panthor (CVE-2024-53071). |
| In Ignition 8.1.53 and earlier, the Gateway "Create Project Role(s)" setting shipped blank, which permitted any authenticated user to create projects (if they can execute gateway scripts). Ignition 8.1.54 restricts project creation to Designer sessions and no longer relies on this setting. The 8.3 series is not affected. |
