CVSS v3.1 |
| VMware ESXi, Workstation, and Fusion contain an integer-overflow vulnerability in the VMXNET3 virtual network adapter. A malicious actor with local administrative privileges on a virtual machine with VMXNET3 virtual network adapter may exploit this issue to execute code on the host. Non VMXNET3 virtual adapters are not affected by this issue. |
| An authenticated remote attacker can execute arbitrary commands with root privileges on affected devices due to lack of improper sanitizing of user input in the Main Web Interface (endpoint event_mail_test). |
| The gix-transport crate before 0.36.1 for Rust allows command execution via the "gix clone 'ssh://-oProxyCommand=open$IFS" substring. NOTE: this was discovered before CVE-2024-32884, a similar vulnerability (involving a username field) that is more difficult to exploit. |
| Certain models of routers from Billion Electric has an OS Command Injection vulnerability, allowing remote attackers with administrator privileges to inject arbitrary system commands into a specific SSH function and execute them on the device. |
| A remote attacker with high privileges may use a reading file function to inject OS commands.
|
| Out-of-bounds vulnerability in slope processing during curve rendering in Generic PCL6 V4 Printer Driver / Generic UFR II V4 Printer Driver / Generic LIPSLX V4 Printer Driver. |
| A vulnerability in the software upgrade process of Cisco Nexus 3000 Series Switches and Cisco Nexus 9000 Series Switches in standalone NX-OS mode could allow an authenticated, local attacker with valid Administrator credentials to execute a command injection attack on the underlying operating system of an affected device.
This vulnerability is due to insufficient validation of specific elements within a software image. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by installing a crafted image. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary commands on the underlying operating system with root privileges.
Note: Administrators should validate the hash of any software image before installation. |
| A command injection vulnerability in the Palo Alto Networks Cortex XDR® Broker VM allows an authenticated user to execute arbitrary OS commands with root privileges on the host operating system running Broker VM. |
| Reachable assertions in the NGAP_FIND_PROTOCOLIE_BY_ID function of OpenAirInterface Magma v1.8.0 and OAI EPC Federation v1.2.0 allow attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via a crafted NGAP packet. |
| Out-of-bounds write vulnerability exists in DocuPrint CP225w 01.22.01 and earlier, DocuPrint CP228w 01.22.01 and earlier, DocuPrint CM225fw 01.10.01 and earlier, and DocuPrint CM228fw 01.10.01 and earlier. If an affected MFP processes a specially crafted printer job file, a denial-of-service (DoS) condition may occur. |
| A CWE-78: Improper Neutralization of Special Elements used in an OS Command ('OS Command Injection')
vulnerability exists that could cause unauthenticated remote code execution when a malicious folder is created
over the web interface HTTP when enabled. HTTP is disabled by default. |
| Command injection vulnerability in Asus RT-N15U 3.0.0.4.376_3754 allows a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code via the netstat function page. |
| An unauthenticated local attacker may trick a user to open corrupted project files to execute arbitrary code or crash the system due to an out-of-bounds write vulnerability.
|
| Improper neutralization of special elements used in an OS command ('OS Command Injection') issue exists in NCP-HG100 1.4.48.16 and earlier. If exploited, a remote attacker who has obtained the authentication information to log in to the management page of the product may execute an arbitrary OS command with root privileges. |
| A vulnerability in the VPN and management web servers of the Cisco Adaptive Security Virtual Appliance (ASAv) and Cisco Secure Firewall Threat Defense Virtual (FTDv), formerly Cisco Firepower Threat Defense Virtual, platforms could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause the virtual devices to run out of system memory, which could cause SSL VPN connection processing to slow down and eventually cease all together.
This vulnerability is due to a lack of proper memory management for new incoming SSL/TLS connections on the virtual platforms. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending a large number of new incoming SSL/TLS connections to the targeted virtual platform. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to deplete system memory, resulting in a denial of service (DoS) condition. The memory could be reclaimed slowly if the attack traffic is stopped, but a manual reload may be required to restore operations quickly. |
| DLINK DIR-825 REVB 2.03 devices have an OS command injection vulnerability in the CGl interface apc_client_pin.cgi, which allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands via the parameter "wps_pin" passed to the apc_client_pin.cgi binary through a POST request. |
|
An out of bounds write vulnerability in the AMD Radeon™ user mode driver for DirectX® 11 could allow an attacker with access to a malformed shader to potentially achieve arbitrary code execution.
|
| Smartwares cameras CIP-37210AT and C724IP, as well as others which share the same firmware in versions up to 3.3.0, are vulnerable to command injection.
During the initialization process, a user has to use a mobile app to provide devices with Access Point credentials. This input is not properly sanitized, what allows for command injection.
The vendor has not replied to reports, so the patching status remains unknown. Newer firmware versions might be vulnerable as well. |
| Litestar is an Asynchronous Server Gateway Interface (ASGI) framework. In versions 2.10.0 and prior, Litestar's `docs-preview.yml` workflow is vulnerable to Environment Variable injection which may lead to secret exfiltration and repository manipulation. This issue grants a malicious actor the permission to write issues, read metadata, and write pull requests. In addition, the `DOCS_PREVIEW_DEPLOY_TOKEN` is exposed to the attacker. Commit 84d351e96aaa2a1338006d6e7221eded161f517b contains a fix for this issue. |
| Multiple authenticated operating system (OS) command injection vulnerabilities exist in Firewalla Box Software
versions before 1.979. A physically close
attacker that is authenticated to the Bluetooth Low-Energy (BTLE) interface can use the network configuration service to inject commands in various configuration parameters including networkConfig.Interface.Phy.Eth0.Extra.PingTestIP, networkConfig.Interface.Phy.Eth0.Extra.DNSTestDomain, and networkConfig.Interface.Phy.Eth0.Gateway6. Additionally, because the configuration can be synced to the Firewalla cloud, the attacker may be able to persist access even after hardware resets and firmware re-flashes. |
