| BMC Control-M branches 9.0.20 and 9.0.21 upon user login load all Dynamic Link Libraries (DLL) from a directory that grants Write and Read permissions to all users. Leveraging it leads to loading of a potentially malicious libraries, which will execute with the application's privileges.
Fix for 9.0.20 branch was released in version 9.0.20.238. Fix for 9.0.21 branch was released in version 9.0.21.201. |
| An Incorrect Default Permissions vulnerability in the command line interface (CLI) of Juniper Networks Junos OS Evolved allows a low privileged local attacker to view NETCONF traceoptions files, representing an exposure of sensitive information.
On all Junos OS Evolved platforms, when NETCONF traceoptions are configured, NETCONF traceoptions files get created with an incorrect group permission, which allows
a low-privileged user can access sensitive information compromising the confidentiality of the system.
Junos OS Evolved:
* All versions before 20.4R3-S9-EVO,
* 21.2-EVO before 21.2R3-S7-EVO,
* 21.4-EVO before 21.4R3-S5-EVO,
* 22.1-EVO before 22.1R3-S5-EVO,
* 22.2-EVO before 22.2R3-S3-EVO,
* 22.3-EVO before 22.3R3-EVO, 22.3R3-S2-EVO,
* 22.4-EVO before 22.4R3-EVO,
* 23.2-EVO before 23.2R1-S2-EVO, 23.2R2-EVO. |
| OpenObserve is a cloud-native observability platform. A vulnerability in the user management endpoint `/api/{org_id}/users/{email_id}` allows an "Admin" role user to remove a "Root" user from the organization. This violates the intended privilege hierarchy, enabling a non-root user to remove the highest-privileged account. Due to insufficient role checks, the `remove_user_from_org` function does not prevent an "Admin" user from removing a "Root" user. As a result, an attacker with an "Admin" role can remove critical "Root" users, potentially gaining effective full control by eliminating the highest-privileged accounts. The `DELETE /api/{org_id}/users/{email_id}` endpoint is affected. This issue has been addressed in release version `0.14.1` and all users are advised to upgrade. There are no known workarounds for this vulnerability. |
| Traccar is an open source GPS tracking system. Versions prior to 6.0 are vulnerable to path traversal and unrestricted upload of file with dangerous type. Since the system allows registration by default, attackers can acquire ordinary user permissions by registering an account and exploit this vulnerability to upload files with the prefix `device.` under any folder. Attackers can use this vulnerability for phishing, cross-site scripting attacks, and potentially execute arbitrary commands on the server. Version 6.0 contains a patch for the issue. |
| When installing Nessus to a non-default location on a Windows host, Nessus versions prior to 10.8.4 did not enforce secure permissions for sub-directories. This could allow for local privilege escalation if users had not secured the directories in the non-default installation location. - CVE-2025-24914 |
| When installing Nessus Agent to a non-default location on a Windows host, Nessus Agent versions prior to 10.8.3 did not enforce secure permissions for sub-directories. This could allow for local privilege escalation if users had not secured the directories in the non-default installation location. |
| An issue has been discovered in GitLab CE/EE affecting all versions starting from 13.7 prior to 17.4.6, from 17.5 prior to 17.5.4, and from 17.6 prior to 17.6.2. It may have been possible for an attacker with a victim's `CI_JOB_TOKEN` to obtain a GitLab session token belonging to the victim. |
| In multiple functions of Parcel.cpp, there is a possible way to bypass address space layout randomization. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. |
| In many locations, there is a possible way to access kernel memory in user space due to an incorrect bounds check. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. |
| A Privilege Context Switching Error (CWE-270) in the Command Center Server could allow a privileged Operator with high level access in one Division to perform limited privileged activities across the Division boundary.
This issue affects Command Centre Server:
9.30 prior to 9.30.1874 (MR1), 9.20 prior to 9.20.2337 (MR3), 9.10 prior to 9.10.3194 (MR6), 9.00 prior to 9.00.3371 (MR7), all versions of 8.90 and prior. |
| Incorrect Default Permissions vulnerability in Apache Tomcat Connectors allows local users to view and modify shared memory containing mod_jk configuration which may lead to information disclosure and/or denial of service.
This issue affects Apache Tomcat Connectors: from 1.2.9-beta through 1.2.49. Only mod_jk on Unix like systems is affected. Neither the ISAPI redirector nor mod_jk on Windows is affected.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 1.2.50, which fixes the issue. |
| Incorrect default permissions in Microsoft AutoUpdate (MAU) allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| An issue was discovered in Vaultwarden (formerly Bitwarden_RS) 1.30.3. A vulnerability has been identified in the authentication and authorization process of the endpoint responsible for altering the metadata of an emergency access. It permits an attacker with granted emergency access to escalate their privileges by changing the access level and modifying the wait time. Consequently, the attacker can gain full control over the vault (when only intended to have read access) while bypassing the necessary wait period. |
| File Browser provides a file managing interface within a specified directory and it can be used to upload, delete, preview, rename and edit files. The file access permissions for files uploaded to or created from File Browser are never explicitly set by the application. The same is true for the database used by File Browser. On standard servers using File Browser prior to version 2.33.7 where the umask configuration has not been hardened before, this makes all the stated files readable by any operating system account. Version 2.33.7 fixes the issue. |
| An low privileged remote attacker can enforce the watchdog of the affected devices to reboot the PLC due to incorrect default permissions of a config file. |
| A vulnerability in the NuPoint Messenger (NPM) component of Mitel MiCollab through version 9.8 SP1 (9.8.1.5) could allow an authenticated attacker with administrative privilege to conduct a privilege escalation attack due to the execution of a resource with unnecessary privileges. A successful exploit could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary commands with elevated privileges. |
| The Anonymous Restricted Content plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Sensitive Information Exposure in all versions up to, and including, 1.6.5 via the WordPress core search feature. This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to extract sensitive data from posts that have been restricted to logged-in users. |
| An issue in trojan v.2.0.0 through v.2.15.3 allows a remote attacker to escalate privileges via the initialization interface /auth/register. |
| Permissions Bypass in Extension Management in Google ChromeOS 16181.27.0 on managed Chrome devices allows a local attacker to disable extensions and access Developer Mode, including loading additional extensions via exploiting vulnerabilities using the ExtHang3r and ExtPrint3r tools. |
| Vulnerability in the Oracle Analytics Desktop product of Oracle Analytics (component: Install). Supported versions that are affected are Prior to 8.1.0. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows low privileged attacker with logon to the infrastructure where Oracle Analytics Desktop executes to compromise Oracle Analytics Desktop. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in takeover of Oracle Analytics Desktop. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 7.8 (Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability impacts).
