CVSS v3.1 |
| The Twig sandbox mechanism in Craft CMS is configured to allow dangerous functionality from the Yii framework, leading to authenticated RCE similar to previously disclosed vulnerabilities. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
Input: synaptics-rmi4 - propagate F54 worker errors to V4L2 queue
Previously, rmi_f54_buffer_queue() waited for the worker thread to
finish but ignored whether it succeeded. If the worker failed (e.g.,
due to a timeout or register read failure), the queue thread would
silently return success, delivering stale or uninitialized memory to
userspace.
Add a 'report_error' field to struct f54_data to store the worker's exit
status. Check this field in rmi_f54_buffer_queue() after the worker
finishes, and mark the buffer as VB2_BUF_STATE_ERROR if an error
occurred. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
powerpc/pseries: papr-phy-attest - validate cmd.length, plug mem leak
In papr_phy_attest_create_handle(), the params->cmd.length is not
validated before use, which can result in a buffer overlow. Check it and
return -EINVAL if it is either 0 or exceeds sizeof(params->cmd).
Also, params is freed on the success path but not error. Free it on
errors after memory allocation. And free it on negative fd. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
Input: cs40l50-vibra - validate custom data from user space
cs40l50_add() copies the custom data of an FF_PERIODIC/FF_CUSTOM effect
straight from the ff_effect the user passed to EVIOCSFF, without
requiring it to hold anything:
work_data.custom_data = memdup_array_user(periodic->custom_data,
periodic->custom_len,
sizeof(s16));
work_data.custom_len = periodic->custom_len;
The driver then reads two words out of that buffer: custom_data[0] as the
waveform bank in cs40l50_effect_bank_set(), and custom_data[1] as the
index within the bank in cs40l50_effect_index_set(). Neither read is
covered by a length check, and custom_len is fully user controlled:
- custom_len == 0 makes memdup_array_user() call memdup_user() with a
length of zero, which returns ZERO_SIZE_PTR rather than an error, so
custom_data[0] dereferences it.
- custom_len == 1 allocates two bytes. A bank of ROM or RAM keeps
effect->type out of the OWT case, and custom_data[1] is then read one
word past the allocation.
The bank value itself is also mishandled. It is masked with
CS40L50_CUSTOM_DATA_MASK (0xffff) but stored in an s16, so a
custom_data[0] of 0x8000 or above wraps to a negative value that passes
the "bank_type >= CS40L50_WVFRM_BANK_NUM" test.
cs40l50_effect_index_set() indexes vib->dsp.banks[] with it before the
switch statement's default case gets a chance to reject it:
base_index = vib->dsp.banks[effect->type].base_index;
max_index = vib->dsp.banks[effect->type].max_index;
Require the two words the driver reads to be present, and hold the masked
bank in a u32 so the existing upper-bound test covers the whole range.
The da7280 haptic driver already range checks custom_len this way. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/shmem_helper: Check VMA boundaries for PMD mappings
In the ->huge_fault handler do not install a PMD huge page
mapping if the huge page exceeds the boundaries of the VMA.
All other ->huge_fault handlers have similar checks and the
resulting mapping will trigger a VM_BUG_ON_VMA() if it ever
reaches copy_pmd_range(). |
| The Shared Files WordPress plugin before 1.7.67, shared-files-pro WordPress plugin before 1.7.68 do not properly sanitize a file path taken from a frontend file submission and their single-pass traversal filter is bypassable, allowing unauthenticated users to store a path that points outside the uploads directory. When the corresponding file entry is later permanently deleted, an arbitrary file on the server (such as wp-config.php) is deleted, leading to denial of service and potential site takeover. |
| The Shared Files WordPress plugin before 1.7.67, shared-files-pro WordPress plugin before 1.7.70 do not perform a capability check in their file-upload handler, which is registered for unauthenticated users and protected only by a nonce that is output on public pages, so an unauthenticated visitor can upload files to a publicly accessible directory and read the server's absolute path from the response. Uploads are limited to WordPress's allowed MIME types, so executable PHP cannot be uploaded. |
| The WCFM Marketplace WordPress plugin before 3.8.2 does not correctly verify that the person requesting a refund owns the order, allowing unauthenticated users to create refund requests against any guest checkout order on the site. |
| OpenMed before 1.5.2 contains a remote code execution vulnerability in the PII privacy-filter model loading path. The privacy-filter dispatcher used broad substring matching on the user-supplied model_name parameter, allowing a value such as attacker/foo-privacy-filter-bar to route through a path that loads Hugging Face models with trust_remote_code=True. An unauthenticated attacker can supply a malicious model repository containing custom Transformers code via auto_map in config.json or tokenizer_config.json, which is imported and executed with the privileges of the OpenMed service process. |
| Python StateMachine versions 3.0.0 before 3.2.0 contains a remote code execution vulnerability that allows attackers to execute arbitrary code by supplying malicious SCXML documents containing crafted `<data expr="...">` attributes evaluated unsafely. The SCXMLProcessor passes attacker-controlled expression strings through a call chain ending in Python's built-in eval() without sandboxing, enabling arbitrary code execution in the context of the hosting process. |
| uproot dynamically generates Python class source code from ROOT TStreamerInfo records in a file and compiles it at runtime. Some file-controlled streamer metadata fields (for example, streamer element names) are interpolated into the generated Python source without safe quoting via repr() or the !r format specifier. An attacker who can supply a crafted ROOT file can place Python expression-breaking content into a streamer metadata field. When uproot generates and invokes the corresponding reader method, the injected Python expression is evaluated in the context of the process opening the file, resulting in arbitrary Python code execution in applications that open or process attacker-controlled ROOT files with affected uproot code paths. |
| HCL IntelliOps Event Management (IEM) is affected by a Session Deletion Vulnerability. It may allow improper handling of user sessions, resulting in sessions not being fully terminated after logout or deletion. |
| An authenticated OS command injection vulnerability exists in ZoneMinder's event export functionality. The exportFile HTTP request parameter is passed unsanitized into a shell command executed via PHP's exec(), allowing any authenticated user with View Events permission to execute arbitrary operating system commands on the server. |
| Ceph is an open-source distributed storage platform providing object, block, and file storage. In versions prior to 20.2.4 and 19.2.6, the RADOS Gateway (RGW) protects STS session tokens with an AES-128-CBC handler that provides no message authentication, allowing an attacker who holds any valid STS token to tamper with it undetected and escalate to full RGW administrative access. Because the ciphertext is unauthenticated, the attacker can perform a CBC bit-flip on the acct_type, perm_type, and is_admin fields of their own token, and a forged is_admin value triggers a global administrative override that bypasses all capability checks. The attack is reachable remotely over the RGW S3 endpoint and is a self-contained modification of a token the attacker already possesses, requiring no encryption oracle and no network observation. It requires only a single valid STS token, which need not carry any elevated privileges, with STS enabled. This issue is fixed in versions 20.2.4 and 19.2.6. |
| Ceph is an open-source distributed storage platform providing object, block, and file storage. In versions prior to 20.2.4 and 19.2.6, the Ceph Object Gateway (RGW) SigV4 handler does not reject requests that carry x-amz-* headers absent from the signed header set, allowing anyone holding a presigned URL to attach arbitrary unsigned x-amz-* headers that RGW will honor. AWS S3 requires every x-amz-* header on a SigV4 request to be signed and rejects requests bearing additional unsigned headers, but RGW validates only the headers listed in X-Amz-SignedHeaders and ignores any extra ones, so they take effect without being covered by the signature. By adding such headers to a presigned PUT URL, an attacker can grant themselves more capabilities than the URL's signer intended and escalate their privileges. This issue is fixed in versions 20.2.4 and 19.2.6. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/amdgpu: disallow multiple FENCE chunks in one submit
amdgpu_cs_pass1() dispatches on chunk_id once per chunk without
rejecting repeated ids. p->uf_bo is a single-slot field, so a
submission carrying two AMDGPU_CHUNK_ID_FENCE chunks runs
amdgpu_cs_p1_user_fence() twice, and the second run overwrites
p->uf_bo with a freshly referenced BO without dropping the reference
taken by the first.
amdgpu_cs_parser_fini() only unrefs the final p->uf_bo, so every FENCE
chunk but the last leaks a BO reference. The leaked BO outlives handle
close and process exit.
Reject duplicate FENCE chunks the same way commit fec5f8e8c6bc
("drm/amdgpu: disallow multiple BO_HANDLES chunks in one submit") did
for p->bo_list.

| The Breeze Cache WordPress plugin before 2.5.13 does not sanitise a value taken from the request before using it to build the paths of the files it caches, allowing unauthenticated attackers to create files at arbitrary locations on the server, outside the intended cache directory. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
