| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
tls: Use __sk_dst_get() and dst_dev_rcu() in get_netdev_for_sock().
get_netdev_for_sock() is called during setsockopt(),
so not under RCU.
Using sk_dst_get(sk)->dev could trigger UAF.
Let's use __sk_dst_get() and dst_dev_rcu().
Note that the only ->ndo_sk_get_lower_dev() user is
bond_sk_get_lower_dev(), which uses RCU. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
riscv: uprobes: Add missing fence.i after building the XOL buffer
The XOL (execute out-of-line) buffer is used to single-step the
replaced instruction(s) for uprobes. The RISC-V port was missing a
proper fence.i (i$ flushing) after constructing the XOL buffer, which
can result in incorrect execution of stale/broken instructions.
This was found running the BPF selftests "test_progs:
uprobe_autoattach, attach_probe" on the Spacemit K1/X60, where the
uprobes tests randomly blew up. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
fs: Fix uninitialized 'offp' in statmount_string()
In statmount_string(), most flags assign an output offset pointer (offp)
which is later updated with the string offset. However, the
STATMOUNT_MNT_UIDMAP and STATMOUNT_MNT_GIDMAP cases directly set the
struct fields instead of using offp. This leaves offp uninitialized,
leading to a possible uninitialized dereference when *offp is updated.
Fix it by assigning offp for UIDMAP and GIDMAP as well, keeping the code
path consistent. |

| A flaw was found in Libtiff. This vulnerability is a "write-what-where" condition, triggered when the library processes a specially crafted TIFF image file.
By providing an abnormally large image height value in the file's metadata, an attacker can trick the library into writing attacker-controlled color data to an arbitrary memory location. This memory corruption can be exploited to cause a denial of service (application crash) or to achieve arbitrary code execution with the permissions of the user. |
