CVSS v3.1 |
A weakness has been identified in 101arrowz fflate up to 0.8.3. This issue affects the function unzipSync of the file esm/index.mjs. This manipulation causes memory corruption. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. The exploit has been made available to the public and could be used for attacks. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way.
Sandboxie-Plus is an open source sandbox-based isolation software for Windows. Prior to 1.18.6, a process inside a sandbox could send MSGID_FILE_SET_ATTRIBUTES or MSGID_FILE_SET_SHORT_NAME to SbieSvc and cause the SYSTEM service to open and modify an existing file outside the sandbox. The direct primitive changes file attributes, timestamps, writeability, or 8.3 short names; a short-name redirection can additionally contribute to SYSTEM code execution when a privileged process resolves an attacker-controlled short-name path in a location SbieSvc can open. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.18.6.
GLPI is a free asset and IT management software package. From 0.83 until 10.0.27 and from 11.0.0 until 11.0.9, any authenticated user could submit a crafted request to change the visibility of knowledge base items, reminders, or RSS feeds and then access content that should remain restricted. This issue is fixed in versions 10.0.27 and 11.0.9.
Wazuh is an open-source security platform providing unified XDR and SIEM protection for endpoints and cloud workloads. DecodeWinevt in src/analysisd/decoders/winevtchannel.c accumulates unnamed Windows EventChannel Data element contents into the fixed 65,535-byte join_data heap buffer but passes the growing content length, rather than the OS_MAXSTR buffer capacity, as the snprintf size. An enrolled agent can submit an EventChannel message containing four maximum-sized unnamed Data elements, causing the fourth accumulation to write beyond join_data and corrupt adjacent heap metadata. The subsequent free of join_data2 causes the wazuh-analysisd process to terminate, stopping log ingestion for all agents handled by that manager. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.14.7.
Open edX Platform enables the authoring and delivery of online learning at any scale. From the Ulmo release until release/ulmo.4 and release/verawood.1, the GET /api/support/v1/manage_course_team/ endpoint in CourseTeamManageAPIView requires only IsAuthenticated and omits the global support-role authorization check intended for this help-desk surface. Any authenticated learner can supply an email, username, or user_id for an arbitrary target and use the 200 and 404 response discrepancy to distinguish an active account from an absent or inactive account. A caller with a course-level or organization-level instructor role can additionally obtain the target user's staff or instructor assignments within the caller's course or organization scope. Anonymous callers remain blocked, and the separately authorized PUT behavior is outside this vulnerability. This issue is fixed in release/ulmo.4 and release/verawood.1.
Webmin is a web-based system administration tool for Unix-like servers. Prior to 2.652, untrusted users with access to the File Manager or Upload and Download modules can direct Webmin's server-side URL download functionality to non-public network addresses because download destinations are not restricted by resolved IP address. This allows requests to unauthenticated intranet services or cloud-provider instance metadata endpoints that are inaccessible from the user's own system. This issue is fixed in 2.652.
A security flaw has been discovered in nliautaud pico-content-editor up to 02d5ad6c820c5050c542ab9505819b5e0a0ba1af. This vulnerability affects unknown code. The manipulation results in cross-site request forgery. The attack may be performed from remote. The exploit has been released to the public and may be used for attacks. This product utilizes a rolling release system for continuous delivery, and as such, version information for affected or updated releases is not disclosed. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure but did not respond in any way. This vulnerability only affects products that are no longer supported by the maintainer.
An issue in im3x Scriptables through v2-dev branch allows attackers to inject arbitrary OS commands via uploading a file with a crafted filename to the /sync endpoint.
A vulnerability was identified in 6amTech 6valley 16.0. Impacted is the function existingAccountCheck of the file /api/v1/auth/existing-account-check of the component Social Login Flow. Such manipulation of the argument user_response leads to authorization bypass. The attack may be launched remotely. The exploit is publicly available and might be used.
A flaw was found in GIMP. When processing a specially crafted GIMPressionist preset file, the plug-in does not properly validate vector indices before writing into fixed-size arrays. This can lead to an out-of-bounds write, corrupting memory. An attacker could exploit this by convincing a user to load a malicious preset file, potentially causing a crash or enabling arbitrary code execution.
A path traversal vulnerability in Flatpak's handling of the files/etc directory during app deployment allows a malicious Flatpak app to cause certain host system files (such as passwd, group, machine-id, or resolv.conf) to be emptied or replaced with a symlink when the app is installed or upgraded. In system-wide installations, the write is performed as root.
A path traversal vulnerability in Flatpak's handling of the export/bin directory during app deployment allows a malicious Flatpak app to cause deletion of attacker-chosen files outside the deployment directory when the app is installed or upgraded. In system-wide installations, the deletion is performed as root.
Invalid pointer in the Graphics: WebRender component. This vulnerability was fixed in Firefox 159, Firefox ESR 115.44, Firefox ESR 153.6, Thunderbird 159, and Thunderbird 153.6.
Pocket ID is an OIDC provider that allows users to authenticate with their passkeys to services. From 1.11.0 until 2.10.0, createTokenFromClientCredentials in backend/internal/service/oidc_service.go accepts the client-controlled resource parameter and embeds it directly in the access token aud claim without validating that the audience is registered or that the requesting client may access it. Any authenticated OIDC client can therefore obtain a Pocket ID-signed token naming another client or an arbitrary audience. The /api/oidc/introspect endpoint cannot distinguish the unauthorized token because it treats a token as active when the introspecting client's identifier matches the attacker-selected audience. In deployments where resource servers trust Pocket ID access tokens for service-to-service authorization, this bypasses audience-based access controls and can permit unauthorized data access or actions; deployments that do not use these tokens for resource-server authorization have no immediate exploitable impact. This issue is fixed in version 2.10.0.
Readest is a modern, feature-rich ebook reader designed for seamless cross-platform access and an intuitive reading experience. Prior to 0.11.10, the apps/readest-app/src/pages/api/storage/upload.ts route constructed an object key from the authenticated user's identifier and a client-controlled fileName without rejecting path separators or parent-directory traversal. In the R2 backend, apps/readest-app/src/utils/r2.ts placed that key into a new Request URL before signing it, and URL normalization collapsed parent-directory components so the resulting presigned PUT could escape the caller's namespace. An authenticated attacker who knew a target user identifier and book hash could overwrite or poison that user's stored book object and corrupt the associated file_key metadata; the exact cross-tenant escape was verified for the R2 backend. This issue is fixed in version 0.11.10.
A flaw was found in librsvg. When processing an SVG document containing nested XML inclusions (Xincludes) with duplicate entity declarations, a use-after-free error can occur. This vulnerability arises because the library incorrectly frees an XML entity that is still in use by the parser. An attacker could potentially exploit this to cause a denial of service or execute arbitrary code.
A code execution flaw was found in Emacs, affecting versions prior to 31.2. The Flymake mode using language backends other than Lisp would execute arbitrary code from the edited file while performing syntax checking. Viewing or editing untrusted files using Emacs could lead to arbitrary code execution with the privileges of the user running Emacs.
A flaw was found in rpcbind. This vulnerability allows a remote, unauthenticated attacker to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) by sending a large number of unique requests. The rpcbind service records previously unseen RPC (Remote Procedure Call) statistics in unbounded in-memory lists, leading to persistent memory growth and increased CPU usage. This can degrade or exhaust service availability.
A use-after-free vulnerability was found in QEMU's 9pfs subsystem. A race condition between the main thread and a worker thread when processing concurrent Tlcreate and Twalk requests allows a malicious guest user to craft a fid path containing stale heap data, bypassing directory traversal restrictions and escaping the shared directory boundary. This can lead to arbitrary host file read/write and code execution (VM escape) as the QEMU process user.
A flaw was found in dnsmasq. When following a CNAME in a DNS response, the resolver can cache records for the CNAME target without checking that those records belong to the responding server's authorized zone. In split-DNS deployments that send some domains to a specific upstream, an attacker who controls that upstream can inject cache entries for unrelated names. Later clients may then receive attacker-chosen addresses for those names.
