In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipv6: Fix memleak of nhc_pcpu_rth_output in fib_check_nh_v6_gw(). fib_check_nh_v6_gw() expects that fib6_nh_init() cleans up everything when it fails. Commit 7dd73168e273 ("ipv6: Always allocate pcpu memory in a fib6_nh") moved fib_nh_common_init() before alloc_percpu_gfp() within fib6_nh_init() but forgot to add cleanup for fib6_nh->nh_common.nhc_pcpu_rth_output in case it fails to allocate fib6_nh->rt6i_pcpu, resulting in memleak. Let's call fib_nh_common_release() and clear nhc_pcpu_rth_output in the error path. Note that we can remove the fib6_nh_release() call in nh_create_ipv6() later in net-next.git.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: proc: fix UAF in proc_get_inode() Fix race between rmmod and /proc/XXX's inode instantiation. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/radeon: fix uninitialized size issue in radeon_vce_cs_parse() On the off chance that command stream passed from userspace via ioctl() call to radeon_vce_cs_parse() is weirdly crafted and first command to execute is to encode (case 0x03000001), the function in question will attempt to call radeon_vce_cs_reloc() with size argument that has not been properly initialized. Specifically, 'size' will point to 'tmp' variable before the latter had a chance to be assigned any value. Play it safe and init 'tmp' with 0, thus ensuring that radeon_vce_cs_reloc() will catch an early error in cases like these. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iscsi_ibft: Fix UBSAN shift-out-of-bounds warning in ibft_attr_show_nic() When performing an iSCSI boot using IPv6, iscsistart still reads the /sys/firmware/ibft/ethernetX/subnet-mask entry. Since the IPv6 prefix length is 64, this causes the shift exponent to become negative, triggering a UBSAN warning. As the concept of a subnet mask does not apply to IPv6, the value is set to ~0 to suppress the warning message.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: x86/microcode/AMD: Fix out-of-bounds on systems with CPU-less NUMA nodes Currently, load_microcode_amd() iterates over all NUMA nodes, retrieves their CPU masks and unconditionally accesses per-CPU data for the first CPU of each mask. According to Documentation/admin-guide/mm/numaperf.rst: "Some memory may share the same node as a CPU, and others are provided as memory only nodes." Therefore, some node CPU masks may be empty and wouldn't have a "first CPU". On a machine with far memory (and therefore CPU-less NUMA nodes): - cpumask_of_node(nid) is 0 - cpumask_first(0) is CONFIG_NR_CPUS - cpu_data(CONFIG_NR_CPUS) accesses the cpu_info per-CPU array at an index that is 1 out of bounds This does not have any security implications since flashing microcode is a privileged operation but I believe this has reliability implications by potentially corrupting memory while flashing a microcode update. When booting with CONFIG_UBSAN_BOUNDS=y on an AMD machine that flashes a microcode update. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ice: fix memory leak in aRFS after reset Fix aRFS (accelerated Receive Flow Steering) structures memory leak by adding a checker to verify if aRFS memory is already allocated while configuring VSI. aRFS objects are allocated in two cases: - as part of VSI initialization (at probe), and - as part of reset handling However, VSI reconfiguration executed during reset involves memory allocation one more time, without prior releasing already allocated resources. If either function fails, the function should log error message with mlx5_core_warn() and return error pointer.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net_sched: Prevent creation of classes with TC_H_ROOT The function qdisc_tree_reduce_backlog() uses TC_H_ROOT as a termination condition when traversing up the qdisc tree to update parent backlog counters. However, if a class is created with classid TC_H_ROOT, the traversal terminates prematurely at this class instead of reaching the actual root qdisc, causing parent statistics to be incorrectly maintained. In case of DRR, this could lead to a crash as reported by Mingi Cho. Prevent the creation of any Qdisc class with classid TC_H_ROOT (0xFFFFFFFF) across all qdisc types, as suggested by Jamal.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nf_conncount: Fully initialize struct nf_conncount_tuple in insert_tree() Since commit b36e4523d4d5 ("netfilter: nf_conncount: fix garbage collection confirm race"), `cpu` and `jiffies32` were introduced to the struct nf_conncount_tuple. The commit made nf_conncount_add() initialize `conn->cpu` and `conn->jiffies32` when allocating the struct. In contrast, count_tree() was not changed to initialize them. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: qla1280: Fix kernel oops when debug level > 2 A null dereference or oops exception will eventually occur when qla1280.c driver is compiled with DEBUG_QLA1280 enabled and ql_debug_level > 2. I think its clear from the code that the intention here is sg_dma_len(s) not length of sg_next(s) when printing the debug info.

This is observed in Radeon RX 6600 XT. It is fixed by assigning pix_clk * (14 * 3) / 24 - same as the rests. Also fixes the indentation in get_norm_pix_clk. Due to this appleir_input_configured() is never called, hidinput_connect() fails which results in the HID_CLAIMED_INPUT flag is not being set. However, it does not make appleir_probe() fail and lets the event callback to be called without the associated input device. Thus, add a check for the HID_CLAIMED_INPUT flag and leave the event hook early if the driver didn't claim any input_dev for some reason. Moreover, some other hid drivers accessing input_dev in their event callbacks do have similar checks, too. Found by Linux Verification Center (linuxtesting.org) with Syzkaller.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: gpio: aggregator: protect driver attr handlers against module unload Both new_device_store and delete_device_store touch module global resources (e.g. gpio_aggregator_lock). To prevent race conditions with module unload, a reference needs to be held. Add try_module_get() in these handlers. For new_device_store, this eliminates what appears to be the most dangerous scenario: if an id is allocated from gpio_aggregator_idr but platform_device_register has not yet been called or completed, a concurrent module unload could fail to unregister/delete the device, leaving behind a dangling platform device/GPIO forwarder. This can result in various issues. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amd/display: Fix null check for pipe_ctx->plane_state in resource_build_scaling_params Null pointer dereference issue could occur when pipe_ctx->plane_state is null. The fix adds a check to ensure 'pipe_ctx->plane_state' is not null before accessing. This prevents a null pointer dereference. Found by code review. In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: rapidio: add check for rio_add_net() in rio_scan_alloc_net() The return value of rio_add_net() should be checked. If it fails, put_device() should be called to free the memory and give up the reference initialized in rio_add_net().

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: rapidio: fix an API misues when rio_add_net() fails rio_add_net() calls device_register() and fails when device_register() fails. Thus, put_device() should be used rather than kfree(). Add "mport->net = NULL;" to avoid a use after free issue.
