CVE-2026-53235 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-28 7.5 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: add pskb_may_pull() to skb_gro_receive_list() skb_gro_receive_list() calls skb_pull(skb, skb_gro_offset(skb)) without first ensuring the data is in the linear area via pskb_may_pull(). When the skb arrives via napi_gro_frags(), skb_headlen can be 0 (all data in page fragments) while skb_gro_offset is non-zero (after IP+TCP header parsing). The skb_pull() then decrements skb->len by skb_gro_offset but skb->data_len stays unchanged, hitting BUG_ON(skb->len < skb->data_len) in __skb_pull(). The UDP fraglist GRO path already contains this guard at udp_offload.c:749. Adding it to skb_gro_receive_list() itself provides centralized protection for all callers (TCP, UDP, and any future protocols), and ensures the precondition of skb_pull() is satisfied before it is called. On pskb_may_pull() failure, set NAPI_GRO_CB(skb)->flush = 1 so the skb is not held as a new GRO head and is instead delivered through the normal receive path, matching the UDP handling.
CVE-2026-53205 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-28 7.1 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: accel/ivpu: Add bounds checks for firmware log indices Add validation that read and write indices in the firmware log buffer are within valid bounds (< data_size) before using them. If out-of-bounds indices are encountered (from firmware), clamp them to safe values instead of proceeding with invalid offsets. This prevents potential out-of-bounds buffer access when firmware supplies invalid log indices.
CVE-2026-53164 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-06-26 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iommu/dma: Do not try to iommu_map a 0 length region in swiotlb iommu_dma_iova_link_swiotlb() processes a mapping that is unaligned in three parts, the head, middle and trailer. If the middle is empty because there are no aligned pages it will call down to iommu_map() with a 0 size which the iommupt implementation will fail as illegal. It then tries to do an error unwind and starts from the wrong spot corrupting the mapping so the eventual destruction triggers a WARN_ON. Check for 0 length and avoid mapping and use offset not 0 as the starting point to unlink. This is frequently triggered by using some kinds of thunderbolt NVMe drives that trigger forced SWIOTLB for unaligned memory. NVMe seems to pass in oddly aligned buffers for the passthrough commands from smartctl that hit this condition.
CVE-2026-6245 1 Redhat 2 Enterprise Linux, Openshift 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
A flaw was found in the System Security Services Daemon (SSSD). The pam_passkey_child_read_data() function within the PAM passkey responder fails to properly handle raw bytes received from a pipe. Because the data is treated as a NUL-terminated C string without explicit termination, it results in an out-of-bounds read when processed by functions like snprintf(). A local attacker could potentially trigger this vulnerability by initiating a crafted passkey authentication request, causing the SSSD PAM responder to crash, resulting in a local Denial of Service (DoS).
CVE-2023-5396 2026-04-15 7.4 High
Server receiving a malformed message creates connection for a hostname that may cause a stack overflow resulting in possible remote code execution. See Honeywell Security Notification for recommendations on upgrading and versioning.
CVE-2024-37305 1 Open Quantum Safe 1 Oqs Provider 2026-04-15 8.2 High
oqs-provider is a provider for the OpenSSL 3 cryptography library that adds support for post-quantum cryptography in TLS, X.509, and S/MIME using post-quantum algorithms from liboqs. Flaws have been identified in the way oqs-provider handles lengths decoded with DECODE_UINT32 at the start of serialized hybrid (traditional + post-quantum) keys and signatures. Unchecked length values are later used for memory reads and writes; malformed input can lead to crashes or information leakage. Handling of plain/non-hybrid PQ key operation is not affected. This issue has been patched in in v0.6.1. All users are advised to upgrade. There are no workarounds for this issue.
CVE-2025-20315 1 Cisco 1 Ios Xe Software 2026-04-15 8.6 High
A vulnerability in the Network-Based Application Recognition (NBAR) feature of Cisco IOS XE Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to cause an affected device to reload, causing a denial of service (DoS) condition. This vulnerability is due to improper handling of malformed Control and Provisioning of Wireless Access Points (CAPWAP) packets. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by sending malformed CAPWAP packets through an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause the device to reload unexpectedly, resulting in a DoS condition.
