CVE-2026-61824 1 Kepano 1 Defuddle 2026-08-24 8.2 High
Defuddle cleans up HTML pages. Prior to 0.19.1, site extractors interpolate page-derived image alt and src values, og:image values, and video descriptions into HTML strings without context-appropriate escaping, and buildExtractorResponse() returns this contentHtml without the main pipeline's DOM-based sanitization. The affected paths include src/extractors/x-article.ts, src/extractors/substack.ts, and src/extractors/youtube.ts. A malicious page or attacker-controlled content on a matching domain can inject event-handler attributes or javascript URLs that execute when a victim or downstream application renders the extracted HTML. This issue is fixed in version 0.19.1.
CVE-2026-53468 1 Typemill 1 Typemill 2026-08-24 4.6 Medium
Typemill is a flat-file, Markdown-based content management system designed for informational documentation websites. Versions prior to 2.23.0 are vulnerable to stored HTML attribute injection in the page metadata fields (`og:title` and `og:description`). An authenticated user with permission to modify page metadata can inject arbitrary HTML attributes into generated `<meta>` tags due to missing output encoding. Under certain browser or DOM interaction scenarios, this may lead to stored cross-site scripting (XSS). Version 2.23.0 fixes the issue.
CVE-2026-4559 2 Wordpress, Wpchill 2 Wordpress, Image Photo Gallery Final Tiles Grid 2026-08-24 6.4 Medium
The Image Photo Gallery Final Tiles Grid plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'delay' shortcode attribute in all versions up to, and including, 3.6.12 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.
CVE-2026-30865 1 Combodo 1 Itop 2026-08-24 7.1 High
Combodo iTop is a web based IT service management tool. Prior to 3.2.3, there is a Reflected Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the dashboard save functionality. This issue has been fixed in version 3.2.3.
CVE-2026-76837 1 Baserow 1 Baserow 2026-08-24 6.4 Medium
Baserow interpolates a user's display name into the rich-text mention markup without HTML encoding. PATCH /api/user/account/ stores the first_name value verbatim, and the mention renderer in web-frontend/modules/core/editor/mention.js builds its element with a template literal that places the name into a data-label attribute and the element body unescaped. A name containing a double quote closes that attribute and the opening tag, so following markup lands in the element content. The result is rendered through v-html by the rich-text field components, so any rich-text cell mentioning the account executes the stored script for every workspace member who views the table, without a click. Any workspace member, at the lowest permission level, can set the name and reach every other member of the workspace, and the payload persists until the name is changed or the mentioning row is removed. Version 2.3.0 escapes the value before interpolation.

The manipulation of the argument course leads to cross site scripting. Remote exploitation of the attack is possible. The exploit has been disclosed publicly and may be used.
CVE-2026-5751 1 Emilstenstrom 1 Justhtml 2026-08-24 6.1 Medium
justhtml versions 1.13.0 and earlier contain a parser-differential / mutation cross-site scripting (mXSS) vulnerability when using a custom SanitizationPolicy that preserves foreign namespaces (e.g., drop_foreign_namespaces=False with allowlisted SVG/MathML elements or raw-text containers such as <style>). Specially crafted input can sanitize into markup that appears safe but becomes unsafe when re-parsed by a browser or another HTML parser, allowing markup injection. The default safe configuration (sanitize=True) is not affected. Fixed in 1.14.0.
CVE-2026-8445 1 Emilstenstrom 1 Justhtml 2026-08-24 9.8 Critical
justhtml versions <= 1.11.0 (fixed in 1.12.0) do not sufficiently escape HTML-significant characters (angle brackets) in text nodes when converting a parsed document to Markdown via to_markdown(). While a small set of Markdown metacharacters are escaped, characters such as < and > are preserved, so untrusted input that is safe in to_html() — including entity-decoded text (e.g. &lt;script&gt;) or text from RCDATA/RAWTEXT-parsed elements like <title>, <textarea>, <noscript>, and <plaintext> — can be emitted as raw HTML in the Markdown output, enabling a sanitizer bypass and potential cross-site scripting when that output is rendered.
CVE-2026-34491 1 Johnson Controls 2 Metasys 14, Metasys 15 2026-08-24 N/A
Improper neutralization of input during web page generation ('cross-site scripting') vulnerability in Johnson Controls Metasys 14 and Johnson Controls Metasys 15 allows Cross Site Scripting. This issue affects Metasys 14: before 14.1.5; Metasys 15: before 15.0.1.
CVE-2019-1973 1 Cisco 1 Enterprise Nfv Infrastructure Software 2026-08-24 4.8 Medium
A vulnerability in the web portal framework of Cisco Enterprise NFV Infrastructure Software (NFVIS) could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to conduct a cross-site scripting (XSS) attack against a user of the web-based interface. The vulnerability is due to improper input validation of log file content stored on the affected device. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by modifying a log file with malicious code and getting a user to view the modified log file. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary script code in the context of the affected interface or to access sensitive, browser-based information.
CVE-2026-74793 1 Emilstenstrom 1 Justhtml 2026-08-24 6.1 Medium
justhtml before 3.11.0 contains a cross-site scripting vulnerability where the default sanitizer bypasses event handler removal in selectedcontent projections. Attackers can inject SVG or MathML elements with event handlers that are cloned and reinserted into output without sanitization, enabling stored or reflected XSS attacks.
CVE-2026-65053 1 Horde 2 Horde Imp, Imp 2026-08-24 6.1 Medium
Horde IMP's AppleDouble MIME viewer writes an attacker-controlled attachment name into an HTML status block without escaping it. In lib/Mime/Viewer/Appledouble.php, _IMPrender() obtains the name of the data part with IMP_Contents::getPartName(), which returns the MIME part's own name parameter as supplied by the message, and passes it through sprintf into the text of an IMP_Mime_Status object. IMP_Mime_Status::__toString() concatenates each text entry directly into the surrounding table markup, so the value reaches the rendered page verbatim. A message crafted as multipart/appledouble whose data part carries markup in its name parameter therefore executes script in the context of any user who views it, and the payload persists in the mailbox. Exploitation requires no account on the target system, only the ability to send mail to a user. Version 7.2.0 escapes the value with htmlspecialchars(). The researcher additionally chains this flaw with the arbitrary file read of CVE-2026-58451, and reports that script running in an administrator's session can reach an application code-execution path.
CVE-2026-78414 1 Network Optix 1 Nx Witness Vms 2026-08-24 8 High
Cross-site scripting in the Web Administration interface of Network Optix Nx Witness VMS before version 6.1.3 on Linux, Windows and MacOS allows an adjacent-network attacker to execute arbitrary JavaScript in the browser of an authenticated administrator and steal the administrator's session token, resulting in Administrator Account Takeover. An attacker who controls an Nx server on the same network segment can set that server's site name to a script payload, which executes when an administrator opens the "Merge with Another Site" dialog and the site selection list is displayed.Solution: Update to Nx Witness VMS version 6.1.3 or later.
CVE-2026-78251 2026-08-24 N/A
DJI drones contain an FTP service that uses hardcoded credentials shared across affected models and permits authenticated users to upload files without limits on file size, file count, or total storage consumed in **/blackbox/upgrade/**, as well as overwrite existing files in that directory. An attacker with access to the drone's internal network or USB RNDIS interface can exhaust the available storage, preventing the aircraft from writing flight records, logs, and telemetry and potentially preventing subsequent firmware updates. Uploaded files persist across reboot and factory reset. Affected models are DJI Neo until 01.00.0400, DJI Neo 2 until 01.00.0500, DJI Flip until 01.00.1200, DJI Air 3 until 01.00.1600, DJI Air 3S until 01.00.1400, DJI Avata 2 until 01.00.0400, DJI Avata 360 until 01.00.0300, DJI Mavic 3 until 01.00.1400, DJI Mavic 3 Classic until 01.00.0800, DJI Mavic 3 Pro until 01.01.0700, DJI Mavic 4 Pro until 01.00.0500, DJI Mini 2 until 01.07.0200, DJI Mini 3 until 01.00.0500, DJI Mini 3 Pro until 01.00.0900, DJI Mini 4 Pro until 01.00.1100, and DJI Mini 5 Pro until 01.00.0600. Remediation requires a firmware update from the vendor.
CVE-2026-78391 1 Ransomlook 1 Ransomlook 2026-08-24 N/A
RansomLook contains a stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the cryptocurrency wallet detail view. Cryptocurrency addresses and blockchain names originating from external sources, including the public crowd-sourced ransomwhe.re feed, were stored without sufficient validation and later embedded directly into an inline JavaScript onclick handler. Although Jinja HTML autoescaping was applied, it does not provide adequate protection when untrusted data is inserted into a JavaScript string inside an HTML attribute. HTML entities such as &#39; are decoded by the browser's HTML parser before the resulting attribute is interpreted as JavaScript. Consequently, a specially crafted cryptocurrency address containing quote characters and JavaScript syntax could escape the intended string literal and execute arbitrary JavaScript when a user clicked the affected wallet's CSV export button. Because cryptocurrency information imported from an untrusted upstream could reach the vulnerable rendering path, exploitation may not require an authenticated RansomLook account if an attacker can introduce a malicious wallet record into a consumed external data source. Successful exploitation could allow attacker-controlled JavaScript to execute in the security context of the RansomLook web application, potentially exposing information accessible to the victim or performing actions with the victim's privileges. The patch mitigates the issue by validating cryptocurrency addresses and blockchain identifiers before storage, restricting them to a safe character set, and replacing the inline JavaScript handler with data-* attributes and an external event listener so wallet values are treated strictly as data rather than executable JavaScript.
