CVSS v3.1 |
A flaw was found in the Red Hat OpenShift AI (RHOAI) overlay for the training operator. The RHOAI overlay incorrectly aggregates `trainjobs` management permissions into the native Kubernetes `edit ClusterRole`. This allows any user with `edit ClusterRole` permissions in a namespace to create, modify, and delete `TrainJobs`. When combined with a separate vulnerability (TRN-01) that permits arbitrary pod configurations, a remote attacker with namespace editor privileges could exploit this to escalate privileges, potentially leading to arbitrary code execution.
A flaw was found in odh-dashboard. An authenticated user of the dashboard can exploit a vulnerability related to how RoleBindings are created. The system does not properly validate the `roleRef` field, allowing a user to specify an arbitrary role, including highly privileged ones like `cluster-admin`. This can lead to privilege escalation, where an attacker gains unauthorized elevated access within their namespace and potentially persistent control over the system.
A flaw was found in FreeIPA. When a trust relationship is configured between FreeIPA and Active Directory, Active Directory users can bypass authentication for FreeIPA services, including the portal, SMB server, and LDAP directory. This is possible by impersonating a client name in the Ticket Granting Service (TGS) due to FreeIPA services not verifying Privilege Attribute Certificate (PAC) certificates. This vulnerability could allow an authenticated Active Directory user to escalate their privileges within the FreeIPA domain.
Berkeley Out-of-Order Machine (BOOM) commit 5223e44cfeb26f41380057a2eb4d651197475f69 contains a potential incorrect privilege assignment issue in the v3 and v4 NBDTLB implementations. The raw mstatus.SUM value participates in the read and write permission logic without an explicit local satp.MODE validity check at the use site
The WPeMatico RSS Feed Fetcher WordPress plugin before 2.8.27 does not verify that a user running a feed campaign is permitted to publish content or to attribute posts to another account, allowing users with contributor-level access and above to publish posts live and set any registered user, including an administrator, as the post author.
Nezha Dashboard versions before 2.3.5 fail to restrict service monitor task types to supported probe types, allowing authenticated users with nezha:service:write scope to submit privileged task types through the service API. Attackers can deliver command execution or Agent configuration tasks to Agents within their authorization scope by exploiting the shared protobuf Task.Type namespace between service monitors and privileged operations.
A flaw has been found in Krayin laravel-crm up to 2.2.5. The affected element is an unknown function of the file packages/Webkul/Admin/src/Config/acl.php. Executing a manipulation can lead to improper access controls. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploit has been published and may be used. Upgrading to version 2.2.6 is sufficient to fix this issue. This patch is called a399404a388d8ad2700a01349d0d98069c8e85a4. The affected component should be upgraded.

The Groups – Memberships and Access Control plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Privilege Escalation in all versions up to, and including, 4.6.0. This is due to the groups_join() function deriving group-join eligibility from the ambient post's author capabilities via the global $post->post_author rather than from the currently authenticated user's own capabilities, while simultaneously minting and returning a valid groups-join-data hash and WordPress nonce for the caller in the same response — eliminating all authorization barriers to self-enrollment. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Subscriber-level access and above, to enroll themselves into any group including privileged groups carrying the groups_admin_groups capability, and to subsequently create and join a group containing every registered WordPress capability, effectively escalating their privileges to Administrator. Exploitation requires the attacker to supply an Administrator-authored post ID via the post_ID parameter of the authenticated wp_ajax_parse_media_shortcode handler in order to establish the privileged ambient post context used by the flawed authorization check.
Capgo (capgo.app backend, versions ≤ 12.261.0) improperly restricts which roles the apikey_manager organization role may bind to newly created API keys. When an authenticated user holding only apikey_manager (permissions org.manage_apikeys and org.read) calls POST /apikey with a JWT session, the only checks applied are the org.manage_apikeys permission, a fixed deny-list of assignable role names (APIKEY_MANAGER_DENIED_ASSIGNABLE_ROLES in public/apikey/scope.ts), and a priority-rank comparison in createRoleBindingForPrincipal (private/role_bindings.ts). No check verifies that the caller actually holds the permissions conferred by the role being assigned. Because the deny-list omits the deploy roles app_developer, app_uploader, channel_developer and channel_uploader, and apikey_manager is seeded with priority_rank 78 — higher than those roles' ranks (68, 66, 58, 57) — the rank check also passes. As a result, an apikey_manager who cannot upload bundles or promote channels can mint an API key bound to a deploy role and use it to push arbitrary OTA JavaScript updates to all end users of the organization's apps. As of the advisory publication no patched version was available.
Cap-go capgo.app before 12.267.1 fails to validate target API key privilege during rotation, allowing an apikey_manager to rotate a higher-privileged org_super_admin sibling key and recover its plaintext credential. Attackers with apikey_manager role can enumerate same-owner API keys, rotate a stronger sibling through the PUT endpoint, and obtain the replacement plaintext secret to authenticate as the higher-privileged principal.
Capgo (capgo.app) blocks direct user inserts into the public.manifest table with a RESTRICTIVE row-level security policy, but that restriction can be bypassed indirectly. A principal holding an app-scoped upload/write/all API key (upload+ rights) or an authenticated user with write+ rights on an app can update public.app_versions.manifest on a version whose storage_provider is 'r2-direct', which is not covered by the bundle content-lock check. The on_version_update async worker trusts record.manifest and, using the service-role Supabase client, inserts the attacker-controlled file_name, file_hash, and s3_path into public.manifest before clearing app_versions.manifest. When a channel points to the crafted version, the /updates endpoint returns the service-role-created manifest entry as a client-facing download_url, enabling OTA manifest poisoning through a trusted async worker path. All versions are affected; no patch was available at the time of publication.
Capgo CLI (npm package @capgo/cli) through 7.98.2 is affected by an over-permissioned service account in its Android onboarding flow. When onboarding via Google OAuth, the CLI invites the generated Google Play service account with the account-wide Play Console permission CAN_MANAGE_DRAFT_APPS_GLOBAL (passed as developerAccountPermissions in the Android Publisher API User create request), even though the user-facing flow states the service account is invited into a single confirmed app with release-only permissions. As a result, anyone who obtains the generated service account key (PLAY_CONFIG_JSON) can create, edit, and delete draft apps across the entire Google Play developer account rather than being limited to the selected package. No patched version was available at the time of publication.
Capgo (capgo.app backend) before 12.127.5 contains an authorization flaw in the PATCH /private/role_bindings/:binding_id endpoint. The handler verifies that the newly assigned role's priority rank does not exceed the caller's own rank, but — unlike the DELETE handler — it never checks the rank of the role currently bound to the target binding. An authenticated user holding the org_admin role (rank 90) can therefore change an org_super_admin binding (rank 95) to a lower-privileged role such as org_member (rank 75). Because the prevent_last_super_admin_binding_delete database trigger fires only BEFORE DELETE and not on UPDATE, an org_admin can demote every org_super_admin, leaving the organization with no super administrator. The issue is fixed in 12.127.5.
Budibase versions before 3.45.0 fail to validate per-app authorization in the POST /api/global/groups/:groupId/apps endpoint, allowing builders to assign application roles across workspace boundaries. A builder of a single workspace can exploit missing per-app authorization checks to grant themselves admin roles in other workspaces by modifying user group role mappings.
vm2 through 3.11.6 does not normalize `node:`-prefixed builtin specifiers when evaluating user-supplied negative (deny) entries in a NodeVM wildcard require policy. Although NodeVM strips the `node:` prefix during require() resolution, negative wildcard entries are matched by exact string comparison against the canonical builtin names, so a policy such as `new NodeVM({ require: { builtin: ['*', '-node:child_process'] } })` fails to deny the canonical `child_process` module. Sandboxed code can therefore obtain the host `child_process` builtin via `require('child_process')` or `require('node:child_process')`, gaining references to process-spawning APIs such as execSync and spawn, which is equivalent to host command-execution capability for untrusted sandbox code. Fixed in vm2 3.11.7.
Improper Exposure of Resource to Wrong Sphere in the host file helper (gofer) in Google gVisor prior to commit 573a9e73cf844f on Linux platforms with CUSE enabled allows a local attacker with container image deployment privileges to achieve root code execution on the host system. By including a /dev/cuse character device node in a container image, opening the device passes through to the host, allowing the sandboxed attacker to register a host device and exploit CUSE unrestricted ioctl handling to overwrite root udev helper memory.
